90% of the normies that played this game don't even understand how awesome the plot is.
Cast them

somebody posted an awesome cast a few weeks back, all i remember is john noble as richter and sean harris as beard
>the plot
surely not the plot.
Another retard that didn't get the plot so decided to skip the dialogues because he doesn't want to use his brain
Sean Harris makes sense. But john noble looks too old
>how awesome the plot is.
The plot is a joke. It's in the second game where they put effort into the story and it turned out trash.
drug addled alternate reality where a shadow paramilitary uses random former operators as agents for their goal
It's always hilarious to me when brainlets act as if they are superior for "figuring out" the plot to Hotline Miami, seemingly not realizing that even the developers didn't care about the plot. They had an increased focused on the plot in the sequel due to fan outcry, but they clearly didn't care much about it or want to include it, which is why it is told in the most obtuse and convoluted way possible. They are making fun of the people who attempt to sort the mess out. That's it.
Brainlet here, how are Richter and Jacket both alive at the end of Hotline Miami 2? In HM1 you kill Richter in the police station. If the Biker’s levels are canon, then Jacket is killed by him.
>mfw finally got 1-800-GODDAMN after years of trying on and off
How did this become so ridiculously famous and influential? It's literally a flash game
unreliable narrator, biker is on drugs and jacket is in a coma
You have the option to spare him.
Whats the best level to get combo god ? Playing on PS4.
First Blood
Cool, I kept trying on Death Wish because of some dude on youtube recommended it but I just can't get it
the plot to hotline miami is not complicated. it's not deep. it's sure as shit not hard to understand at all. it's a fun game with good storytelling but don't mistake that for some kind of genius only you were too smart to notice. you're an easily impressed basic bitch and the fact that you think there's anything not to 'get' about HM1 just proves that you had trouble understanding it yourself and came to the conclusion that the game must be super duper smart if it could get the gears in your micro-brain whirring for once.
your focus on the plot is particularly stupid because the plot is the most underdeveloped part of the narrative. the secret ending literally tells you that the gritty details of the plot don't matter at all. it's a thematic game and the great music drives half of it.
the fact that you posted this garbage on Yea Forums instead of Yea Forums tells me that you most likely got called a fucking retard somewhere in there and so you came crying here for round 2.
faggot.
first blood is great for it
good luck man, it was very satisfying to platinum both games
The bigger question is how biker and jacket are still both alive in 2
I always thought Richter was a blatant reference to Bruce Willis. Hell, even down to his signature silenced uzi from Pulp Fiction.
Also, isn't Beard confirmed to be inspired by El Huervo IRL? If Beard is only gonna appear in a couple of shots at the store, he doesn't have to be that good of an actor as long as he looks and somewhat acts the part. Then again, if an HM2 movie came out, that would certainly backfire.
>they skipped the dialogues
JFL
>tfw no Hotline Miami 3
Jacket and Richter are both alive due to you actually having a choice in-game to not ground execute Richter. This is confirmed to be canon in HM2.
As for Jacket and Biker, they are both unreliable narrators. Essentially, on each person's side of the story, they see themsleves as unstoppable. In HM2, during the Bar of Broken Heroes easter egg cutscene, Biker is shown with massive scars to his face. It is implied that Jacket did not decapitate Biker with a golf club; he only majorly hurt him.

Yeah, that's the only interpretation that kind of makes sense. You also have to assume biker then did his half of the story and then decided not to kill the two fifty blessing agents in the secret ending.
