It was, dare I say, better than Sticks and Stones.

That is because DAVE CHAPPELLE IS NOT FUNNY.
he da man, my girl hates him though.
Why do Black Women love Bill so much?
Yeah I'd have to agree
Dave Chappelle is usually an A-tier comic but Sticks and Stones was a bit of a drop off. Not because I was offended by anything, but because some jokes were purposefully built to be edgy first and funny second, instead of the other way around. As a result some stretches of the show just didn't land.
>Dave Chappelle is usually an A-tier comic
Never once happened. He's "humor" for the low IQ.
Jussie Smollett joke was great and that alone better than Paper Tiger.
Weird thing to say when I'm partly agreeing with you, but alright.
CHAPPELLES "ALPHABET PEOPLE" CAR JOKE WAS ELABORATE AND EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE TO THE ENTIRE LEFTOID SPECTRUM
BILL BURR JOKES ARE RETARD TIER IN COMPARISON
I will tolerate absolutely no positive talk for that fucking hack. I'm tired of low IQ plebs making unfunny hacks famous as shit.
Just admit you didn't find it funny because you got offended. You must be like 19
The Macaulay Culkin Home Alone holy grail of boipussy joke was better
>bongs call candy and cookies "biscuits"
no wonder they are pretty fucking fat too
36YO PUSSY WAS THE MOST SAVAGE
BILL IS WAY TOO WHIPPED TO EVEN ATTEMPT A BURN LIKE THAT
CHAPPELLE IS THE KING FOR NOW
26 and I already mentioned that I loved Paper Tiger. I laughed my ass off at Bill's takedowns of modern society because the guy is naturally funny and cynical, and isn't going out of his way to be like that in a way that would hurt the humor of the show. But y'know keep projecting.
I like how he starts with telling all the britfags how bad things are in the US even though the UK is in the late stages of the cancer the US is currently suffering from.
I didn't agree with some of Chappelle's takes in Sticks and Stones but it destroys Paper Tiger on the actual jokes and structure. Paper Tiger was just rambling and Burr using his same old crutches. The feminism stuff at the start was cringeworthy
Nah, it’s funny.
Sticks and Stones was one of the funniest bits in a long time.
Bill Burr I was laughing the whole time, although the end was weak. Chapelle only had a few good bits.
He's already famous and ridiculously rich you autistic fuck.
It was worse than sticks and stones.
Here is Paper Tiger summed up:
>30 minutes of anti-pc jokes, feminists jokes, anti-es jay double u jokes, anti metoo jokes
they're overdone and boring. literally none of the jokes were funny unless you're a /pol/tard or you're 12.
>30 minutes of men and women differences + wife and child jokes
these were worst. The whole men and women shtick is old as fuck and is done in every special. His family jokes are even worse. Nobody cares about your kid and wife
>10 minutes of sex robots
This was just weird and completely out of the blue. Nothing funny particularly.
Overall this special blew ass his old stuff was good because it was new and refreshing.
Every time he parasympathetically says “right?” after a sentence take a shot.
couldn't stand how dave kept running away after every joke, and then ran back.
>tfw no cross-over timeline, parallel universe in which time travel exists to the extent that Ant, Opie, Colin, Voss and Patrice can sit in the O&A studio and go through each other's future hacky stand up like they did with their old stuff.
Oh and Bill and Jim obviously
I got 5 seconds in, he said "triggered" and I turned it off.
what a fucking washed up hack.
Is his wife really black
shes got a little white in her
Chappelle is clearly more clever, but theres something about bill. Hes got feels and laughs
he's a ball-busting white man. Pretty much the personality black chicks like.
both wrong
BONGS ETERNALLY BTFO
>OI BRUV ME MIC STAND IS FINE OK
>OI THE QUEEN SITS UP THERE YOU CUNT
>OI WOT IF I WAS A TRANY IN YOUR AUDIENCE
HAHAHAHAH FUCKING GOT EM
Both were based as fuck and BTFO trannies
No, it's crap. Bill hasn't produced a good bit in a decade. It's all tired whining and it isn't even edgy. He complains about people but he's too chickenshit to actually put the ideas in focus. His bit is always "feminists are stupid/SJWs are assholes" but he doesn't have the balls to call out their ideology. He's a pussy who married an ugly black broad because no one else can tolerate his bitter, untalented ass.
One of the most overrated comedians of this generation.
THIS IS TRUE BUT DAVE DID IT BETTER AND THATS WHY EVERYONES SO MAD AT HIM THEY CANT JUST SHRUG IT OFF
>Chappelle's creative mind still on point after 15 years, poking fun at the issues we all face in the world today
or
>Burr's soulless copy/paste of the last good set he did 10 years ago
Yeah, nah.
I've never liked Bill Burr so no
Two different kinds of humor, the edge is the only thing they have in common.
Paper Tiger is great but Chappelle is still better though he drops the ball and hard when he tries too hard to be preachy like in the last special
It was okay
Just watched the joe rogan 2018 and I'm surprised I laughed at it as much as I did. I watched his triggered standup and didn't get a single chuckle.
It was not, but I'm glad he seems to be doing okay, I guess. His daughter is like three and he's 50? Fucking hell, Bill. I hope he doesn't blow all his newfound(?) fortune down the drain before his kid grows up.
it could have been if he hadn't tested some of those jokes out on conan already, i mean he knows most people who come out to his shows are already his fans, not sure what the idea was
Why does he make so many solo helicopter trips if he's really happy?
I'll get around to watching it, maybe tonight. Can't stand his wife to be honest though.
>Dave Chappelle is usually an A-tier comic but Sticks and Stones was a bit of a drop off.
It just lacked the self reflection he usually has, which left it feeling mean spirited rather than an exploration of the issue around it.
It was just underwritten and hastily put together, it was more a comedy club riffing than a special.
Still enjoyed it though, solid performance.
I saw Bill live in may so I all ready knew half the jokes in this special, but he fucking killed the room with the blow up doll scenario, which was a bit lackluster in this performance.
Is it me or did Bill Burr recycle some of the materials from an old special of his? Particularly the part about the first female president and her husband being the first male First Lady?
>NIA GRAB A MIC!
OK BILLY, HEY GUYS I FUCK AROUND ON MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HES A GIANT PUSSYWHIPPED FAGGOT LMAO OK BYE
pretty much this, also kill your dogs and sell your drums, did I mention my kid is black as the night sky?
Bill Burr nowadays is too much pussy whiped, unfortunally, as hard as it is to say it, Chapelle's last show was better.
Also, we already expect this kind of stuff from Bill, she should have gone even further to explode the glass ceilling, but he was too safe to his own standards.
He told that one on Conan.
youtu.be
Was this a special?
I've read some review's and I find it funny that people rely on comedians for their dose of social commentary and expect them to properly address social "issues." Go read a book on sociology if you want that or something similar. Like, it's hard enough to entertain the social media infested meme brain of the audience, now they have to figure out what to do with trannies on stage.
Also, about the "the times are so sensitive" shit that gets thrown around. There's an interview of Chris Rock saying the same thing during the mid 80's. I don't buy it. It's crap and a way for comedians to lure the audience into a zone where now "we all talking about something that's forbidden."
>Bill Burr nowadays is too much pussy whiped,
his first 15 minutes was just him berating feminists, what the fuck are you on about?
Have you considered that you are the low IQ?
So I guess Netflix just can't stop cashing in on this alt-right bullshit. Time to cancel my subscription.
What's with every stand up special having to haven artsy name these days? What is Louis going to call his next special? "Burned Bridges"?
When will the king of comedy make his move?
>BITCH, THERE IS NOT A RESTROOM FOR YOU FOR 5 STATES!
I need bill to coach me on how to get a black gf
his pick-up line was class a when he met her
>he thinks common expressions are 'artsy'
It was alright, the only joke i laughed for a bit at was the airbag one.
why is there a homestuck roleplayer in this thread
>hey folks! Do you know who's to blame for all the PC culture? WHITE WOMEN! That's right! I said it.
all comedians that set foot into political territory are either brainlets or complete cowards. ALL OF THEM. Carlin, Stanhope, Hicks, Burr, Patrice Oneal. If they were saying anything that remotely challenged the status quo, they wouldn't be able to work in showbiz. They'd end-up in prison like Dieudonné.
OOOOAAAHHH WOMEN
COME ON ITA NOT RIGHT
BUT I HAVE TO SAY IT
HAHAHA
BLACK MEN AND WHITE MEN
WHAT FUCK DO YOU WANT??!!!
I AM JUST SAYING THINGS
Why not "ACT NAME at the VENUE NAME" like they used to call them?
Why are women so weak? Right?
(audience laughs)
It's like, ladies, okay, we get it, you're smaller than we are, but come on already!
(audience laughs harder)
"OOOH I'M JUST A LITTLE GIRL, I'M SO HELPLESS"
(audience dies of laughter)
He's very french.
It was worse. Chappelle is much better storyteller.
RIGHT NEAR DE BEACH! BOIEEEEE
I thought it was amazingly funny on first watch, but the purposefully edgy parts fall flat on rewatch. The best parts remained hilarious, though. Probably would have been the funniest thing ever if seen live.
If you watched his last 3 interviews on Conan you basically watched this "special"
Absolutely
At least it's funny and not just edgy
There are 2 very bad down times but other than that, I really enjoyed it
Bill burr says the same things as chapelle but he knows how to make it sound funny. His voices get me every time
