Based and coffeepilled

He's there for Trashumpers, nothing more.

NO DONT DO IT DONT SAY THE S-WORD

Straub and Huillet are a meme. Costa is kino.

Why is level 6 full of hacks?

It's not

The only distinction here is how popular/obscure they are, nothing else. I'd prefer to see a list based on quality.

My list is based on directors who have made at least one good film and then ordered by popularity, yes.

Tarantino, Korine, Straub-Huillet are the only bad directors on that list.

cringe

>but muh 2 euro budget art directors from the 60s !!!!

If the list is on the descending order of quality then is he suggesting Hitchcock is better than Leone and Kubrick? Because Hitchcock is the Nolan of his era.

You've misundestood. I wanted the distinction between the "levels" or tiers to be based on quality instead of popularity. The directors in the list is fine but it isn't ordered in any meaningful way imo.

Me on left

See that's the list bases.

They have all made at least one film, I then ordered them in obscurity/popularity. That's it.

It's based on popularity not on quality from what i understand. Hitchcock is much better technical filmmaker than Nolan.
I know, i just said that 3 directors don't belong there because they are bad. The rest is good.

J.P. Simone

James Cameron or Sam Peckinpah
