He is such a bad actor. Why did he insist on putting himself in his movies?

He is such a bad actor. Why did he insist on putting himself in his movies?
Did he really think playing with Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta and fucking Harvey Keitel made him look better? It made him look like a cringe amateur actor only close family and friends go to see to be nice.

He just needed an excuse to use the N word, man

Say what you will about QT, but he doesn't seem to give a flying fuck about what anyone thinks of him. He's just having fun with his job.

Film making is not always about acting realistic
As matter effect the best movies are where actors play characters that would never exist irl

It was a different time. Back when men had hair on their balls and could enjoy a little fun. This film wasn't intended for people born after the year 2000

Kinda feels like it. Or he wanted some schlubby white guy say it, but couldn't find one willing to do it for little money.

>t. quentin

>Film making is not always about acting realistic

Yeah, but it is about acting well. It's just bad man.
Except maybe in From Dusk Till Dawn he stands out like a sore thumb. Even, or especially in Planet Terror.

enjoying the thread, mister Quentin?

yawn

I'll give him the "smallest violine" scene.
That was fun and everybody vibed well.

QT cameos give his films the postmodern touch for which they are celebrated for MUAHAHA

Amen. He is awful in that scene where he chews out Jules.

Though we was pretty good in From Dusk Til Dawn as Clooney's creepy brother. He wasn't too bad in Reservoir Dogs either. He originally wanted to play Mr Pink, but inspired Buscemi to take it from him.

At least DiCaprio did it in Django Unchained, albeit with some reluctancy

Hi there Mr Tarantula
Having a nice day?

Just say nigger you fucking faggot

cringe

Imagine thinking that Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta are good actors

Forster was good though.

>As matter effect

Jackson is great at what he does. He's a one trick pony, playing himself, and that's it. His best imo is the Uncle Tom in Django Unchained

>on a Tarantino kick
>watch everything he's involved with
>start watching movies he talks about in interviews
>city on fire is cool, rio bravo is great, hear about how he wanted john travolta because of Blow Out
>excited and watch it
>he's so terrible
what the fuck does he see in him

Let the spazz sperg from Blockbuster who went on to make beloved films have his indulgence. Considering that in interviews he acts like a puppy on speed, I'd say he stretched as an actor.

Practically everything is his movies is a reference to another movie or TV show.

except Kurt Russell destroying a guitar. that was pure Tarantino ideas.

That's what happens when every night is a Blockbuster night.

nobody gets your boomer references

Nobody thinks a zoomer calling a millennial a boomer is edgy anymore. Go vape on twitch.

>As matter effect

nobody gets your twitter insults

>Boomer references
You called?

What's Twitter grandpa?

>As matter effect

it's what you use to advertise your vape stores and twitch websites

im genuinely curious, how is he acting badly in this scene? what is good acting, what is bad acting?

pls respond

He isn't. He's playing the annoyed character, and he did it decently enough.

Wow, look at this rat fuck snowflake, guys.

>As matter effect
Unambiguous idioms are a diamond dozen.

Fuck you. Tarantino as an australian guy in Django is so terrible and stupid and I love it

youtu.be/ajZh9U7SIps

He has a big ego.

>He originally wanted to play Mr Pink, but inspired Buscemi to take it from him
Really? Good on Steve Buscemi for saving that fucking movie

His scene in Django straight up ruined what up to that point was an ok movie completely took the wind out of the story dripping in cringe a completely needless segment god knows what he was thinking

the duality of man

He is not acting at all with his face except having the same stupid expression that only tells me he tries to look annoyed but looks really annoyed for having to deliver those lines.
His delivery is wtf levels, he lacks any rhythm and doesn't set pauses, or if very short ones. His voice is weird and doesn't project, the switches between emotions are weird or not existing, which is related to his face. Every acting choice he makes here seems off and makes me think they aren't choices at all. He had some idea how he imagined it but can't pull it off because he can't really act so he mostly comes like someone pulled him from his director chair and made him read off the lines.

good acting:
I feel like I'm watching a real person and believe what they say

bad acting:
I'm watching someone deliver lines from a script

But is he a better actor than Kevin Smith???

the duality of garbage

Wasnt Buscemi supposed to have that role, but couldnt come due to schedule conflicts?
