And I like it more than Dredd 2012. Feels like I've transcended Reddit opinions of what's considered good or not.
Your favorite movie Reddit aka Yea Forums hates

i like a cheesy stallone movie but this isnt in my top 10 from stallone?
YOU BETRAYED THE LAW
RAAAAAAAAAUWGH
I was actually struggling to capture that exact moment in a post, but you did so extremely well. Bravo, motherfucker.
This movie gets a pass from me solely for Diane Lane, holy fucking shit was she so attractive in this.
Yeah this film is great and its far faaaaar better than 2012 Dredd but i enjoy both. Its truly transcendental:

there's nothing even close to this good in the 2012 film
Can we all agree that both of Dredd movies are good?
sure but what movie is better?
not him but blatantly 1995. 2012 is just the story of Dredd going up some stairs
you seem to be a tad bit too obsessed with reddit me lad
2012 is story of Rookie though.
Showgirls is the best movie ever made
but I love me a 'slice of live' movie that are basically your average day in Megacity. it would be a great entry in a trilogy with a progredient personal story
they are completely different in tone, 95 dredd is classic action film era kino though
There can't be people who actually think Stallone Dredd is better than 2012 Dredd
we exist and we're right. Dredd is a fucking retarded concept and works far better in a fucking retarded movie. Whats more if you're into the comics then 1995 actually captures their tone far better. Literally the only mistake is dredd taking his helmet off and idgaf
Dredd 2012 feels like a goddamn cartoon with how much CG backgrounds and effects (especially the blood) it uses
Judge Dredd at least has cool sets, practical effects and the scary as hell ABC robot.
I don't know if you're serious but you're right that it's better than 2012
Plebs
Nothing but plebs
See: I genuinely like Judge Dredd more. If Dredd 2012 pushed more towards Robocop satire, I could like it. You have that one joke about the fat guy and that's it.
Judge Dread was more in line with the original material.
>Rob Schneider gets out of prison
>Immediately gets put back into prison, an accurate portrayal of how fucked up the future law system is
Genuinely nothing satiric like this happens in Dredd 2012.
I bet you weren't even alive when Judge Dredd came out
I liked that
Dredd's daily life is basically dresdening different megablocks
Armageddon.
I know it's jingoistic. I know it throws reality out of the window and it has tons of clichés. But it's fucking awesome. And I'm not even American. Pain and Gain as well. Bay is a great director, don't care what anyone thinks.
Armageddon, Pain and Gain, The Rock, the first Transformers (fuck you). All fantastic movies.
I love this movie.
