Why don’t they talk about the atrocities Japanese did in China?

because we like japan now, fuck chinks

Is S02 any good?

I got of the hype train after the first episode. It looked too much like a cliche horror show.

I don’t get why they would call it the terror when it’s completely unconnected to s1 which was based off of a fucking book

The main draw for me in the first season was the polar exploration. Not enough kino about that subject.

Because the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was so fucking inhuman thing to do that it doesn't even compare to anything that Japan did during the war.

Because you cant blame white people for that

now THIS is baiting

Why is s02 ignored by Yea Forums ?

Americans:
>"UNIT731"
Also Americans:
>"Did you work in Unit 731? Here's job offer with relocation."

I tried watching the first episode and had to close it. Everyone says S2 is shit.

I'm Irish nigga. Not only that, you know what's really funny? The Americans got fucked tricked by the Japs into agreeing to covering for Unit 731 because they never found out half of what they were doing before they started covering it up.

What's shit about it? The concept sounds great.

I only saw some of the first episode but the dialog and acting seemed mediocre

The start of season 1 was pretty slow as well. Took episode 3 for crazy shit to start happening.

>what’s shit about it?
From what I’ve heard, they took the weakest element of the first season, the supernatural stuff, and made it front and center this season.

Season 1 had a kino first episode:
>"We are gone" intro scene
>Collins underwater
>Officers' meeting
>Seaman is spooked by Eskimo shaman
>Seaman's funeral
>Colorful major characters are introduced
The manbearpig kinda lessened the whole series, but everything else was amazing.

I really liked the manbearpig elements. It's a great accelerant for tension and helps exacerbate an already horrifying situation; perfect example is how it picking crew members off during watch completely destroys all comfort and security the crew feels. Just because I'm saying episode 1-3 were slow doesn't mean I think they were bad. The underwater scene was excellent.

>Eskimo shaman
That wasn't spooky to me, just silly. I liked the mask though.

Does season 2 lack colourful characters or kino moments?

It's not about it being "slow". In the first half of the episode a possessed lady kills herself, her coffin gets overturned and people hallucinate things. It's just the dialogue and acting that is bad imo.

Marketing, it’s an established brand

When the fuck did this come out?

Because it's shit, simple as. But Mr Mercedes also gets ignored here and that show is batshit insane and very good

That’s more like dishonor than infamy

It's on private trackers since yesterdays.

Looks like high school science class compared to what CIA did in the last 60 years

It really doesn't. We still use their research to this day. I'm not sure what the CIA did that could be worse than vivisecting pregnant women after having them raped by STI carrying prisoners.

Eat shit Tanaka

Because most people wouldn't care when it's not in any way related to them.
