Is this movie worth watching?
Wyatt Mitchell
Daniel Flores
It worth for based Bale. The movie is full of gimmicks and totally biased.
Daniel Hill
I'm having a marathon of movies here with my brother about 9/11
We just saw United 93
And he recommended this.
Hudson Harris
Bale is great but I cannot fucking stand the condescending tone of this and The Big Short.
Adam Robinson
>totally biased
Jordan Young
Cringe
Hunter Flores
Better than his “look I’m acting” from The Big Short.
Liam Martin
Yes, it was enjoyable for me just to see how close the cast resembled their real life counterparts, and Rockwell absolutely killed it as W. But you can tell Adam McKay was taking out all his Trump anger by portraying Cheney as a literal devil, it goes full House of Cards by the end which removes all believability.
Dylan Butler
Yeah adam mckays a fucking turd everything hes done before and after talladega nights and step brothers have been utter shite
Parker Bailey
was bale in the big short/ lol
Easton Evans
I liked some parts, but didn't enjoy how choppy the narrative was.
Wyatt Garcia
>duuuude Israel's strategic interests had absolutely no bearing on the decision to invade Iraq
Kevin Allen
Yes he was da guy da man
Luke Turner
is this the worst board on the site
Jayden Ross
Succession is actually pure kino. It’s shocking that he’s involved w that show.
Asher Mitchell
There's a scene where they explicitly state that Israel is America's greatest ally and was against military intervention in Iraq.
Camden Stewart
dude, i'm retarded, i blanked him so hard in my memory and the kino came roaring back when i looked up the poster rn
Anthony Morgan
Yeah and it’s the same people that did both of these flicks.
Eli Martinez
There is an actual link between him and those interests.
>Genie's founder, chairman, controlling shareholder and CEO is Howard Jonas. Avi Goldin serves as the company's CFO, Michael Stein is the company's COO and Geoffrey Rochwarger serves as Vice Chairman. The president of its Israeli subsidiary is Effie Eitam. Genie Energy's Strategic advisory board is composed of: Dick Cheney (former vice president of the United States), Rupert Murdoch (media mogul and chairman of News Corp), James Woolsey (former CIA director), Larry Summers (former head of the US Treasury), Bill Richardson (former Governor of New Mexico, ex-ambassador to the United Nations and United States Energy Secretary)[3], Michael Steinhardt, Jacob Rothschild,[4][3], and Mary Landrieu, former United States Senator from Louisiana.
>In February 2013, Israeli authorities awarded Afek Oil and Gas an exclusive 36-month petroleum exploration license to a 153-square-mile (400 km2) plot in the Golan Heights, which the UN recognizes to be Syrian territory.[16][17][18][19] Afek subsequently conducted above-ground geophysical tests and based on its preliminary analysis, has applied for a ten well exploratory drilling program.[20]
Without the Iraq War there isn't an Arab Spring and ISIS, and without those Assad didn't lose territory near the Golan Heights.
Gabriel Myers
I really hated it
Why can't McKay make a film with a fucking narrative? Both this and The Big Short were just a series of events with no narrative thread whatsoever
Jose Hughes
Succession is great because it's not McKay's vision, he's just bankrolling it and pitching ideas
Adrian Turner
>was against
Israel urged the United States yesterday to press ahead with a military offensive against Iraq, arguing that any delay would give Saddam Hussein more time to develop weapons of mass destruction.
Ariel Sharon, the Israeli prime minister, has sent messages to Washington in recent days saying that postponing the long-debated operation to topple Saddam "will not create a more convenient environment for action in the future".
According to his aides, Israeli intelligence agencies have picked up signs that Iraq is speeding up efforts to produce biological and chemical weapons.

Kevin Perez
He's a total hack user. The Big Short could have been so much better in the hands of a competent director.
Logan Rivera
Bale is amazing, the movie is trash. I'm not going to defend Cheney, but this movie is way to heavy handed.
Julian Bennett
Well to be fair, both The Big Short and Vice are historical fiction, dramatizing events that actually happen. So at least in these cases McKay can hide behind the excuse that he's merely depicting events as they actually happened.
Isaiah Rogers
Shite pacing and like other anons saying it has no general direction, feels aimless whilst missing out on some of the more interesting shit Cheney did
David Gutierrez
Pretty sure he's pointing out the irony of the scene
Dominic Rogers
I know, that's my point
David Wood
I kinda enjoyed it but it really starts to drag by the end. The movie is massively biased but it's funny that people still were unhappy that it wasn't harder on cheaney
James Gonzalez
As far as Bush movies go, W was better though wasn't that good either
And who thought it was a good idea to have meth damon narrate through the whole thing?
I liked Big Short but this one was definitely as I expected McKay to be so far up his own ass that it gets obnoxious
Joseph Collins
The other guys is covertly the best comedy comedy in the past 15 years
Blake Martin
And yet I’ve read liberal rags admit that 90% isn’t accurate. The only thing that everyone seems to agree on is that he did get a DUI in college. Fuckin waste of money, talent and time.
Nolan Thompson
gator arc was ok but thats about it. Also you can call me a homosexual because I am but I am not a fan of anchorman whatsoever, his weakest fucking work.
Tyler Kelly
This movie is really fucking weird. I feel like there's a good movie somewhere within this movie, but it's a nonlinear jumbled mess. The politics were harmless for the most part (dunno many people who shill for Bush these days) but the end credits is horrid
Chase Parker
/thread/
Nathaniel White
weird and corney
Joshua Ramirez
BASED DICK DID NOTHING WRONG
ANNOYED AT THE UNDERUSE OF RUMSFELD WHO IS A COMPLETE AND ABSOLUTE MADMAN
WORSE THE CASTING OF STEVE CARELL WHO ALWAYS PLAYS HIMSELF THAT FUCKING HACK FRAUD LMAO
WATCH THE UNKNOWN KNOWN
BASED RUMMY
Joseph Hughes
The guy who caused 9/11?
Fucking poor taste, dude.
Hudson Campbell
The movie lies about the geneva convention being applicable to terrorists and conflates unitary executive theory with something similar to papal infallibility.
Joseph White
no. without Bale & Adams this would be a 2 hour SNL skit. Steve Carrell is terrible as Rumsfeld.
Sebastian Martin
Margin Call is much better than The Big Short
youtube.com
Easton Williams
I wish I stopped it 40 minutes before it ended.
Zachary Miller
Honestly, that one never did it for me either
Carter James
SHO IZ
BUT WHERES THE THOT IN THE JACUZZI??
MCKAY IS PEAK BRAINLET
Nathaniel Collins
It does seem like snl. I find it hard to believe that Rumsfeld was joking around all day long like the movie.
Evan Anderson
The faux ending was pretty funny
Eli Phillips
Terrible movie with really bad editing and directing
James Thomas
It's like a Michael Moore movie in its humour and style.
That's not a good thing. However, Amy Adam's performance is INCREDIBLE. Reaaaally subtle and nuanced.
Kevin Brown
Rumsfeld wasn't joking. he really believed it was all a huge joke. Because it is.
Logan Murphy
reminder: trump funded this movie to reduce the odds of sam rockwell playing him in the inevitable biopic
