If it had been a Die Hard movie about John McClane taking a vacation with his wife and them having to defeat bad guys together this time then it would have worked. It was the shit like replacing Keanu with some other dude and having him do everything that really ruined it, that wouldn't have been a problem if it was a Die Hard flick about John and Holly crawling through hatchways to get those damn dirty terrorist-thieves off their ship.

Rambo 3 was the first one I saw as a kid, so I have a soft spot for it

You know, there are lots of cases of really old dudes who had literally zero problems like pissing and shitting themselves because they lead an active lifestyle until they randomly died. I personally knew a guy like that, my friends grandpa, he did biking tours and weight lifting until his late 80s, never had medical problems and one day he just didn't woke up because his heart stopped working, no pain, no prior medical issues, he just randomly died out of nowhere.

It was good and bad. Good because that's probably the single best way to go, bad because it ended up in his family hating each other and suing each other who gets what cause the guy made no preparations for his possible death, despite being in his late 80s.

I think 2, 3, and 4th films were all comfy films.

May not the best, but enjoyable nice popcorn flicks.

So I expect this one to be comfy flick with Logan-style sad ending. (Killing every bad guys, mortally wounded, say something about finally finding my peace...Blah Blah)
