Daily reminder that Resident Evil "fans" complain even when they get a 1:1 adaptation
Rob Zombie unironically
The Raid guy.
I dunno, whatever braindead retard directed all the other RE movies.
Resident Evil 5 is known for being the shittiest game, no one cares about replicating that garbage
Kiyoshi Kurosawa.
Thanks for proving my example :-)
you know, now that I think about it, it probably would be based as fuck having Zombie direct it.
Is this achievable natty?
>1:1 adaptation
Are you fucking blind? It looks like total fan-made shit. Nothing has any force to it and the camerawork is bland as hell.
Compare that to whatit's ripping off:
If he had someone else to reign him in on his shitty dialogue this could actually really, really work.
Refn and let him cast christina hendricks as ashley.
...
RE6 is the worst in the series. Atleast 5 is fun when doing co-op
The guy who directed the 8th season X-Files episode "Roadrunners". i.e. the episode that was blatantly the inspiration for Resident Evil 4.
Zac Snyder is the only correct answer.
Noah Hawley no doubt
Paul WS Anderson
This is as much of a 1:1 recreation as the Matrix parody in Scary Movie 1 is. Sure they put allot of the same moves from the re5 in it, but the choreography is piss poor and full of jump cuts and it's got shitty rock music. The way The way wesker dodges the bullets in the movie really feels weightless and silly as well while in the game it actually works.
this would be kino
RE4 would lend itself super well to his strengths in both horror and action
Wow I've never seen something look worse or more gay.
MORIR ES VIVIR MORIR ES VIVIR MORIR ES VIVIR
Lynch
actually not a bad choice, but i havent seen any of his films? rec some
Cringe. 5 is Kino, 6 is garbage.
The Devil's Rejects is actually pretty good. House of 1000 Corpses is a cringy music video, his Halloween movies are pretty embarrassing. Didn't see Lords of Salem.
Alex Garland
>The Devil's Rejects is actually pretty good
Agreed.
Lords of Salem isn't bad.
Uwe Boll
continue great tradition of shit vidya game movies
cringe
House of 1000 Corpses
John Carpenter
>5 is Kino
saying this just reveals your age
Gunn
I couldn't say, but if it was done well, had a long enough runtime to really take its time drawing out the macabre and eerie vibe and didn't cum in its pants with the action it could legit be the Lovecraftian horror I've been wishing for for a decade.
Robert Rodriguez
Cronenberg, maybe.
Werner Herzog
Paul W.S. Anderson
Rami is the obvious choice
4 is literally the worst Resident Evil game prior to Umbrella Chronicles, pleb.
is leon undefeatable in the RE universe?
I enjoyed Jake and Sherry's story in RE6
It's after labor day. Shouldn't you be back in school by now?
Get out
Coming from the faggot that thinks 4 was good, that's rich.
I wouldn't call it kino, but it's severely underrated.
And Sheva with NOTHING in her inventory but a sniper rifle and ammo is one of the greatest CPU partners ever.
Yes. I NEED it.
It may not be your favorite, you may not think it deserves the level of near universal acclaim it receives, but there is literally no reasonable argument for claiming RE4 doesn't even qualify as a "good" game. Just makes you sound like a contrarian pleb.
Best choice in the thread. The director played the series and you can guess he's a fan of it from his films.
