Artie Lange is well on his way to recovery!
The comedian and longtime contributor for The Howard Stern Show announced in a tweet on Tuesday that he was officially out of rehab after seven months of sobriety.
Lange, 51, originally checked into the facility earlier this year after testing positive for cocaine twice in two months.
Artie Lange is well on his way to recovery!
His mind should be studied for anti-depression research.
Because any regular person in his position would've killed themselves for being such a worthless piece of shit.
There's probably some interesting neurochemistry going on there.
I mean he tried and failed... who the fuck survives drinking bleach and stab wounds to the gut
>I mean he tried and failed...
"cry for help" suicide attempts are not real suicide attempts
Good for him. Hope he can turn his life around.
it's not going to last
This shit shows you what a toxic skeksiss stern is.
this
this ain't his first rodeo
He doesn't have enough money for some rhinoplasty?
>Addiction is a motherfucker man.
hey he had a rough weekend of drinking when he was 17
Fucking retard can't even cook eggs
Thin Jimmy STINKS
*blueballs you in your path*
The fucker stabbed himself nine times and drank bleach. These weren't little nicks to his wrists. The only reason he survived is because his mom and sister found him.
There was a surgery offering to fix it pro bono on the condition that Artie stay off the shit.
Masochistic self harm is not the same as attempting suicide.
Time for coke
I wonder how many assholes he's going to bump into out there that are going to try and get him off the wagon again.
I think any point where you're drinking bleach you're crossing the line from self-harm to attempted suicide.
He will OD and die within one month.
Dude honestly looks better than he did in his thirties when he was still on Stern, pig snout aside.
He honestly looks pretty healthy aside from the nose
You cant stop playing the retard now
he has amended this by saying they were not deep stabs. imagine stabbing yourself 9 times for real and not dying.
he's a head case junkie with unlimited heroin access if he wanted to die he would be dead.
He didn't want to die though, by his own admission. He was panicking because he was out of heroin, and he knew that withdrawals were coming, so in a desperate attempt to get high from bloodloss he stabbed himself. At least that's the long and short of how he described it in the book.
Just goes to show that stand-up comedy truly is the most difficult craft in all of entertainment. I've been performing for two years now so I can confirm this. Something civilians don't understand is that there's no script, no director, no safety net. Just you and a microphone, navigating the channels of subtle nuance and societal taboo. Comedians are a different breed. We're hyper aware. Every little annoyance that the normal person can just ignore, we fixate on. It eats away at us, like maggots on a corpse, until we write on it. Hours of breaking down a simple human interaction that nobody else notices, just to be left with a 45 second bit that the nuance of typically just goes over the audience's head. It's painstaking and underappreciated work that somebody sitting in a cubicle all day could never understand. I would never recommend anybody to pursue this profession. For those of us who've had the traumatic life experiences that led us into this path, we're left with the responsibility of verbalizing the things that society can't or simply doesn't want to address. It's a burden that only a very select few humans are capable of surviving.
he had a capful of beer when he was a teenager guys don't joke about it
They motherfucked him.
