Actually bought Emmanuelle 1&2 from Kino Lober the other week as well as Emmanuelle In America (Black Emmanuelle spin-off starring my beloved Laura Gemser) and the reason they wont make stuff like this is because it's all about sensuality and eroticism.
I personally like these sort of films that have a sort of aimless serene quality to them. Beautiful woman, gorgeous locations and soothing music.
