When did you realize Columbo was the only good cop/detective show?

poirot is better
Just one more thing...
Wrong
I tell ya, my wife loves that show.
No it’s not
ITS A JUNGLE OUT THERE
Monk isn’t nearly as comfy or endearing as Columbo
Not quite there but it's also about a "weird" cop/detective
My grandma loved the Untouchables. I think she knew all the episodes by heart.
I fucking love Columbo. What's your favourite episode?
youtu.be
When I started watching it when I was seventeen.
Yeah IF YOURE A FAAAAAG
Forgotten Lady, endings like that are so rare in Columbo.
His personality can carry only so many dull predictable episodes. Stopped after watching a dozen or so.
What a sad life you must lead
I used to watch these shows, Matlock and Murder She Wrote with my father all the time at night. They're all pure kino and I fucking miss the experience so much since he and my mother moved away.
Nobody else ever had this sort of precious experience with their father or mother?
I'm sorry faggot, that's not The Rockford Files.
I'm so smart that I always managed to figure who the killer was in any Colombo episode before the third act.
Mannix
When I wasn't a 75-year old man living in 1989
This poirot is kino.
In the Heat of the Night is "grandma's house" kino.
No, you're not alone! My mom and dad moved away too, and I used to watch Murder She Wrote with my mother as well as other 90s kino like Picket Fences. I miss them both.
Thank you, fren. God bless you and your family.
Right back at you, friend. :)
implying
I think we can all agree that Spender is the best
I know what you mean bud. My dad and I watch columbo at 10am and murder she wrote from 3-5pm everyday. His memory at 90 is starting to slip so every episode seems new to him even if we watched it 2 months earlier. It drives me nuts but the shows are pretty good and I know the day he's gone I'll wish I could just sit there with him and watch em. Have to cherish every second I have left with him
He's a jew
eckhm.
I love Falk so much. His shit with Cassavetes is amazing.
The moment I saw that German movie where he plays himself and the idea is that he's actually an angel that assumed human form and decided to star in Columbo.
8 years old.
Banachek was alright, but more because of Banachek's persona than the mystery structure.
Watched Poirot, Mrs. Marple, McMillan and Wife, and McLeod but they all lack the fun and charm of Columbo. Peter Falk was the best.
Agreed. Monk was good and Shaloub is excellent, but the show lacked comfiness. Plus, when you use autists like Monk and Holmes, the mysteries start to lose their elegance of simplicity. Their autism gives them god mode that almost like deus ex machina, except it's clever.
For the sheer joy of Shatner playing himself, "Fade in to Murder"
ITHOTN contains way more high quality performances and episodes than it had any right to.
Where TF did they move and why did they leave you behind? Go find them. Are you homeless?
I'll dl one season of Columbo to try it out. Which season? Also good season of Matloch?
Columbo marathons on a Sunday are the comfiest existence imaginable.
>tells you who did it at the beginning
Pointless
start with the first episode it was directed by speilberg and it’s a good way to get started and used to the format
pleb filtered
>not Inspector Morse
WRONG
Spielberg? Is this show all Jewish? Nm. Thx tho.
>His memory at 90
jesus dude how old are you?
Poirot and maigret (French one) are cinéma but Columbo is indeed kino Og the highest order.
I miss old Barnaby. The new guy can suck a dick.
Did somebody say comfykino detective show?
Hey
When they had Johnny Cash as the villain
When they cast Patrick McGoohan as the villain three different times
When one of the episodes was actually directed by Steven Speilberg
it was before i realized Barnaby was better
>Poirot
>french
Monk is great too.
ncis is better
COLUMBO IS THE BEST
Miami Vice?
nope. he was made too weird to take seriously. someone who is really smart doesn't have to have 1000 neuroses to be interesting. that's normie shit.
this is so far from the truth it's not even worth addressing lol
>Just one more thing...
Why would someone shoot a man, before throwing him out of a plane? It just doesn't make sense to me.
Sledge Hammer is the only good cop show.
yeah, it's called Wings of Desire
