New Flightchannel shit. Those audio recordings of the pilots before the crash always hit me right in the gut.

You're going the same speed as the plane. If its going 200 miles an hour, you're hitting the ground at 200 miles an hour. Same shit as fags that think jumping in an elevator that's falling will save them.

This show has made me so anxious to fly. Is it possible to bring a parachute in a backpack in carry on? I'd make sure to book my ticket next to the emergency exit so if anything were to happen I'd be gone out the exit and jump out of the plane and safely land on the ground.

this. fucking parachutes should be given to everyone just like a safety belt.

A parachute wouldn't do jack shit in the vast majority of crashes.

How the fuck could you fall for such obvious shitpost bait.

i wouldnt be in the crash though user id be floating safely down into a bail of hay

just jump in the opposite direction the planes going in you brainlet

There's no law prohibiting taking a parachute with you, no matter how much retarded stewardesses or other passengers screech.
Some people routinely travel with them.
Or, if you're that worried, don't ever travel by air.
Everything surface, even overseas.
One day I will take a bus to my neighbouring shitty Asian country, take the train to China, and then take a train all the way to London one last time before it chokes on muslim dick. Never have to leave the surface.
Reverse Orient Express.
That or take a cruise ship.
There's people that travel the world on cargo ships.
Not really worth it unless you want to read a lot and can't stand the boomers on the luxury liners (I think at the end of the day the costs between the two aren't that different because the liners are always on discount to fill up spots). You get a spartan cabin that might have a TV and DVD player if you're lucky.

Read up on the cargo travelling; it's mildly interesting. There's a guy with a blog or perhaps did a ama on leddit that did it for a whole year.

Who's the lucky guy that got to be the plane's voice? Pretty sweet gig to be a pilot's worst nightmare.

Literally just pull up stupid nips

Wonder why none of the people on those planes that flew into the WTC didn't fight back after the Saudi privateers stabbed the flight attendants and pilots to death

I think about this a lot too

Would be interested to know the actual reason

lucky for those ayrab fucking shits based marky mark was busy that day

Attached: VIETNAM FUCKING SHITS.jpg (565x311, 27K)

>it's a plane is falling out of the air at 7000 feet/min because FO Pierre won't let go of the stick and keeps stalling it

It's okay I got you senpai.

>its a pilot lets go of flight controls, disregards every instrument in imc while trying to reset his autopilot for 45 seconds, realizes his mistake while at double maneuvering speed at a bank of 100 degrees and pulls back as hard as possible ripping off a wing that perforates the fuselage and sucks his son out at 11000 feet episode

Attached: IMG_6838.jpg (960x960, 151K)

Back then, pretty much all hijackings ended with them landing somewhere then the hijackers would try to negotiate with the authorities in exchange for freeing hostages. Most passengers on board the planes that flew into the WTC probably didn't realize what was happening until it was way too late. If terrorists tried to do the same thing nowadays, they'd quickly get wrestled to the ground.

> Some passengers survived the initial crash but subsequently died of their injuries hours later, mostly due to the Japan Self-Defense Forces' decision to wait until the next day to go to the crash site, after declining an offer from a nearby United States Air Force base to start an immediate rescue operation.
Goddamn nips.

>4 survivors
Could you imagine that? Surviving a huge fuckoff plane crash with 520 casualties? That'd be so epic

Which one's that? The one where the Russian let his son fly?

What was the logic behind this?
>"Hey! A plane just crashed! We need to go check it out!"
>"... Na. We'll do it tomorrow."

not actually an ep of this show, from an aopa case study

>As captain of the KLM Boeing 747, he was responsible for the Tenerife airport disaster, the deadliest accident in aviation history.
>Shortly before the Tenerife airport disaster, in which he was involved in, Veldhuyzen van Zanten was photographed for KLM's advertising campaign.
>When the news of the Tenerife disaster broke, the KLM executives looked for Veldhuyzen van Zanten to lead their investigation, only to realize that he had been involved in the accident.
Wew, they bet wrong on that one

The thing is that he had a great track record, but all it takes is one fuck up.

>Retard retard retard
Pretty cruel to mock the crew like that

do planes actually say this?
what did they mean by this?

That's all it was.

dude just roll lmfao how much of a faggot do you have to be to die from the fucking ground

still remember all the speculations the media in france had about that crash in the first months
>maybe they got caught in a berzerk storm
>could be a terrorist attack
then the recordings come "oh nevermind the pilots were just retards"

how the fuck are you meant to jump out of the plane with a parachute?

Can we get serious now?

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 45K)

>Same shit as fags that think jumping in an elevator that's falling will save them.
It's completely different.

>it's another east asian crew who crash and burn alive 500 people because they are too afraid to correct their captain

>it’s another third world pilots plough a plane into the ground somewhere because they were trained at the cost of 5$ and a small goat and don’t know how to speak English or fly a plane properly

>that one recording of a flight controller have a stroke

Imagine being one of the people who survived, just laying there, beyond fucked up, bleeding out, but you're holding on to hope, because rescue must be on it's way

Tomorrow is 9/11, bro

>user why do you know so much about plane crashes, you scare me

Why the fuck does nobody want to play plane crash jeopardy with me

I'll never fly.

I shouldn't be in this thread. Have to fly next week and am terrified

focus on how fucking cool flying is and what a miracle it is that man can use physics to make 500 tons of steel stay in the air

Attached: 8HBLUl4.jpg (4698x3159, 2.65M)

This. Also the last plane supposedly got anti-hijacked once they found out about the other planes being crashed.

>it's a child is at the stick and accidentally the autopilot everyone dies and no-one bothered to tell the kid to get out

Name five kinos, three flicks, ten films, one slowburn atmospheric a24 horror, and one book where this happens.

Okay maybe I think the kid might have got out by the time they crashed, but look up Aeroflot 593.
>Summary: Pilot error, untrained minor in command of controls

*record scratches*
>yea, that's me, you're probably wondering how i got into this situation
>not the old man, idiot
>well, it started when i went to see the therapist

That movie was great

Attached: PSA_182.jpg (1280x854, 113K)

But seriously what if I jump right before the elevator hits the ground

I know one thing

Never fly boeing

It doesn't help enough. You need cushioning so always make sure you ride the lift with a fat person. The fatter the better. Jump on them at the very last moment to absorb at least some of the impact.

tell them you listen to Hello Internet

>Khabarovsk United Air Group Flight 3949

literally the safest way to travel
you are 5000% more likely to die in a car on your way to work

majority of airlines use boeing planes.

It you gotta go, go with a smile.

Same, Americans would have fought, they always do in these scenarios.

Whoever did this operated on the assumption that Americans behave like Europeans do, and they simply do not, which is why it seems so suspicious

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_Belgium_MiG-23_crash
most miserable crash incoming

I was in a flight a few months ago, the connecting city was really windy, which made the plane a bit unstable during low altitude approach and descent, unlike any other flight I've seen. It was pretty spooky

What a piece of shit pilot

In those days terrorist hijackings were usually about hostage taking. Nobody saw it coming and the "adults in the room" tried to "keep everyone alive."

Would this really work?

nope
youtube.com/watch?v=Jbf1vbxsB2Y

This crew wasn't trying to fly upside down, they were mashing every possible control and had no horizontal stabilizer.
