The scene where he jams out to do the messaround is pure joy

>it’s called planes, trains and automobiles
>it’s not even about planes, trains and automobiles just two gay guys that travel

>"You're fucked!"

i need to spin up some more webm's from that movie. it's definitely my favorite thanksgiving & being from the midwest hits home pretty close.

Dutch is a ripoff of the Stallonekino Over The Top. Dutch just took out the arm wrestling which was a huge mistake

Nah, Dutch is a better movie.

Never liked this movie. A rare miss from Hughes and Candy.

Del is a liar and an unlikeable person. There's absolutely no reason to feel sorry for him or to help him out at the end.

For me it's slow-burn, atmospheric, deep, satirical, self-deprecating, post-modern ironic comedy. Where the joke is that it isn't funny. I CANNOT be seen laughing at a scripted joke with a set up and a pay off! I absolutely CANNOT. I would be ostracised by my acquaintances.

literal 10,000% rip off

i forget, what'd he lie about?

>no reason to feel sorry for him or to help him out at the end
he was the opposite of steve martin's character, who was a cold, heartless city worker who didn't see his family for so long. del taught him to appreciate the little things in life.

and a poor one at that

What would you recommend bu Hughes, then?

If I wanted a joke, OP, I would have followed you into the bathroom and watch you take a leak
