If you like 1980s monster movie horror, you need to watch The Blob (1988).

Kill List is great, wonderful atmosphere and excellent use of motifs.

Splinter is also a pretty fun little creature feature with some nice effects works.

the wailing

>triangle
I hated this one. Ghost ship is superior cheesykino.

Watch also the Descent, Dark Skies, Kairo, the Ritual, the Endless, Sinister, House of the Devil, the Mist, and Oculus.

Nightmare on Elm St. 3

I still want to fuck Diane Keatons asshole in the hallway

>the Descent
>Kairo
>House of the Devil
seen those. All great. I will look into the rest.

Are there any more sci-fi horror films that you guys recommend? I saw Ex Machina and that was absolute garbage. Glad I watched it for free on a plane and didn't have to pay for it.

Re-Animator (1985) and Beyond Re-Animator (2003)

Dark Skies and the Mist have sci-fi premises. Try also the Invasion, Dark City, Threads, Mimic, Annihilation, 28 days/weeks.

>the Mist
seen it in black and white

>Mimic
very disappointing 2nd half. literally becomes an action/adventure film.

I've seen Cronos as well with Ron Perlman directed by Del Toro.

>28 days/weeks
saw these in theaters.

Slither

Starry Eyes

That's Diane Lane, my fellow diane's asshole loving user.

i wouldn't kick diane keaton out of bed either, or diane wiest for that matter. just gimme all the dianes's

I loved Cronos. Why do people watch the mist in b&w? The Maine color palette is comfy. Maybe they just can't forgive the cgi in that first tentacle scene.

Sphere and Prince of Darkness are arguably sci-fi horror, if not perhaps on the level of some previous recs.

If you haven't already seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre. 1 & 2 are amazing in different ways

Any other satanic type films?

i want that mommy

This movie is wannabe hipster shit. Don't watch this, OP

Watch Kurosawa's Cure instead.

I am in total agreement.

2016: Obama's America

Rec (Spanish Zombie Kino)

Hereditary , Rosemary's Baby

>Why do people watch the mist in b&w?
The director intended the film to be viewed in black and white.

Angel fucking Heart

Goes off a fucking cliff in act 3

Horror anthology no one ever talks about. It's low-budget as fuck, but grim and nasty as fuck too which was unusual from Horror anthologies. Even Vincent Price disowned the film for how brutal it was.

no way, lots of people love this one, including me
one of the only legitimately good later Stephen King movies. I love lots of the made for tv stuff, but that's mostly nostalgia

I couldn't make it past the first 10 minutes

Tetsuo: The Iron Man

Scanners blows but that head explosion is kino. Just stop watching after that

Scanners is fine. Watch all five of them. It really isn't a horror franchise, though. Kind of that halfway horror/sci-fi gray area, like the Watchers movies.
