This user is right. The first couple weeks were fucking awful because of the dumb twist and the classic "too big to fail" alliance dominating most of the comps and just sinking floaters. It wasn't until that alliance fucking imploded and fought against each other the rest of the season which made the game so much more interesting. Most of the background players don't influence much and it's just constant hardcore gaming/comping from week 4 onwards with everyone making big moves.

put it this way: during BB20 I don't think /bb/ threads would die before someone made a new one (and certainly didn't die before hitting the bump limit) until maybe a few times during the final 3, but even then someone would make a new one within an hour. This season it happens almost every other day. And it's not just because we're in the end game so there's less going on the feeds, it's been like this almost the entire season. It's not just that it's a shitty season ruined by endless twists or that the cast sucks, we've had seasons like that before and /bb/ has gotten through them. It's just so fucking boring on top of those things.
Although I will admit the past 2-3 weeks or so have been an improvement, but I still wouldn't say it's gotten good. I think it's just mostly been because the final 8 became more tolerable when the big alliance imploded and they splintered off into pairs or just by themselves

Personally, I'd put it in the upper half of seasons. It depends on what you're interested in. It's maintained a pretty consistent quality, but without a lot of "wow" moments or boring weeks.

After camp comeback ended this season is good.
Don't forget that most of the seasons only had 13 HGs and lasted for 70-80 days. These new 99 day seasons can be a slog. That's one reason that these seasons tend to drag for a month here or there.

No. The first 3 weeks suck because the mega alliance just gets rid of a bunch of floaters. Then the mega alliance starts canabalizing itself by week 4, and fully canibalizes itself by week 6. It's always been pretty ambiguous who was going to make it to the end. There is no Paul or Tyler that is obviously controlling the game.

Tyler had very light control, but he was the favorite early on.
