It's only good up to the end of the Hugo plot. Motorball itself is an interesting concept, but the whole "true warrior" bullshit they get into and chi and crap... no. And it just gets worse from there with the Barjack. It completely loses the plot in Last Order, when Alita becomes a fucking side character in her own book and we get ice age vampires and bullshit. I don't even get me started on Mars Chronicle
