Samus is played by a generic stunt man, never takes the helmet off, maybe hire a VA to do generic grunts and heavy breathing.

All enemies are CGI.

Film plays out a bit like Dredd - Samus lands on a planet after Ridley escapes with the last Metroid, has a number of enemies to kill, and kills them in spectacular CGI action scenes.
