was that joker costume original with this movie? i think its pretty great, nice take.
No it was from the 60s batman
the song that popped in my mind was the wrong one, but imma sing anyway cause I don't remember the song in that scene...
"Trust - who do you?
Trust - what makes you a real lover?
Trust - I put this question to you
Cause I want you to be with me ee eee eeee!!!"
>"Well Gotham? Hubba hubba hubba, who do ya trust? Me?! I'm giving away free money. And where is the Batman? Probably at home washing his tights hahhaha!"
I wished they used Partyman when he dances down the stairs in the new movie. Would've been kino.
>wants to watch batkino
>doesn't have his warner brothers ballcap
LMAO @ ur life btw
this is mask 2 tier.
good luck to the retard that left his entire palm and hand prints all over the fucking wall.
STILL THE BEST BRUCE WAYNE
PROVE ME WRONG
PRO TIP: UR GAY
and then there's this clown
>being this autistic over a fun movie
IF YA GOTTA GO...GO WITH A SMILE
i mean the one in the museum. i watched the 60s show all the time as a kid but I don't remember seeing that costume. the pants, orange+teal, and the beret are cool
>watched Burton Batman before Batman Begins
>big nostalgia bomb
>watched Burton Batman before Dark Knight
>realize it's actually a pretty fucking boring movie
No need, I have several CDs from back in the days.
Parade is his best album.
The costume design of his henchmen is weirdly cool: big ol' 80s winter-in-Chicago bombers, dinky black shades, big black fedora, black fingerless gloves
I wish we could get one last Batman movie with him directed by Tim Burton, like a Dark Knight Returns sort of thing to give him closure after Batman Returns.
well, you're right, but to be fair there's a difference between films. this Batman is the only one where it's Bruce Wayne pretending to be Batman, while all the others are Batman pretending to be Bruce Wayne.
also the scene at the courthouse where Joker murders fools, shoots guns, etc and everybody hits the deck, but Bruce doesn't even flinch, he just stands there and eye fucks Joker, it's pretty based.
I have a fondness for Batman Returns and Batman Forever, I pretty much remember nothing about Batman. I'm really tempted to watch these movies right now, but am also tempted to skip Batman and just watch Returns instead. I haven't seen any of these movies in 20 years.
Yes that is from the movie only.
>mom handmade the costume for me for Halloween when I was 8
>I should call my mom
>Open with an amazing theme song
>All while having the visuals of looking at asphalt at night
Why? What were they thinking?
THIS TOWN NEEDS AN ENEMA
Has it really been 30 years? It's time for a re-watch
Kinda genius to use the Prince songs as themes for The Joker only, contrasting it with the Batman theme.
Tim Burton should come back and do one more film... but not a sequel to Batman Returns...
Did this kind of male hair go extinct after the mid-90s? Every photo of a millennial's dad I see has this same wispy curly hair, and the same goes with like half the grown men I see in 80s movies
It's not, it's from the comics.
peak zoomer opinion right here
it went out with billy joel
Perms for men and jerry curl were popular in the 80s and 90s
is that that guy from Green Day
Watch Batman, it's fucking great.
you should call her, user. tell her you were just thinking about here and wanted to say hi. it will make her week. give her our best
Bout to pop it in right now. Fantasy Football shit on my day, not that you care.
Shes on a cruise with my dad in Italy but I texted her lol
men used to blow dry their hair user
Everytime i text my mom out of the blue she asks me if im about to kill myself.
Not the best Bruce Wayne, best Batman though.
I DECLARE I DON'T CARE NO MORE
>"Ever dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight?..."
I used to pretend to go crazy and tell my little bros this, that was their signal I was about to rough them up.
based
i hope you checked their oil
The Virgin Pomade vs The Chad Blowdry
and The Chad Gel, The Chad Oil, and The Chad Grease
Sorry to hear that bro it's because she cares
Damn.
Great line
what issue? I'd love to get to the bottom of this caper
Redditt loves it
It's basically his classic look in every appearance pre 00s.
Do you think it's because Joker wore purple, and Prince was all about purple rain and all that?
Again, I'm talking the museum scene. To me, this is his iconic look, 60s TV show onward. something about the museum scene outfit is effay af
>that was their signal I was about to rough them up
lmao nothing better then teaching those little shits to toughen up with surprise beatings
i miss those days

Wow. I feel like I'm living this

Who is this actor anyways?
He looked absolutely perfect for a young Joker.
You just know if they made the scene today the music would be some pop song by some nigga
>t. retard who doesn't know police can't trace your handprints if it's not in a global system in the first place
PARTYMAN!
None of you can comprehend how fucking excited I was to see this movie when it came out.
Yikes.
I saw this at a drive-in when it came out. The hype for this movie was the craziest. I remember kids dressed in Batman and Joker costumes in the mall doing choreographed dances to Prince's Batdance.

Keaton was good but outshined by his baddies.
>some retard henchman leaves his fingerprints all over a major crime scene
>eventually gets arrested because he is a retard henchman
>gets his prints taken
>they are already on file as part of a major crime investigation
>major crime case is now busted wide open
Batman and spider man have the best villains by far
and? if he doesn't get arrested they will never catch him. period.
Never rub another man’s rhubarb
He;s cannon fodder
Easily, I can't get into most Marvel movies (or even DC outside of Superman and Batman) because of how lame the villains are.
Batman just excels so perfectly in that department.
Either that or because Joker is the clown PRINCE of crime
very nice
Its an absolute crime that David Tenant's playing of Purple Man is confined to the mediocre Netflix Jessica Jones. He was fucking fantastic.
Joker is literally murdering people in the streets....and then throwing a big ass parade. The city is not worried about catching his henchmen
S C A N D A L O U S
Right?! They're still afraid of my old ass thanks to that.
nope, it's Batfleck
I can. Batman was a global phenomenon seen not since, and I'm guessing here, Star Wars in the 70s. And frankly, nothing was ever on that level ever again.
I mean Batman was everywhere and everything. Merchandise overloaded the cultural zeitgeist. You couldn't go to a restaurant, gas station, grocery store, etc without Batman being everywhere up in your face.
It was a cultural phenomenon.
Beautiful
man VHS tapes had soul. i remember this and my TMNT movie had some pizza hut commercial with a song about a kid in the outfield or something. fuck dvds
Throw it...
He's changed a bit but thats one hell of a Joker smile he's got.
The Prince album is great, one of his best
We almost did :( Tim Burton got busted for making Batman Returns "too dark" and less merchandise-friendly (McDonalds complained the loudest to the studio). Keaton refused to return without Burton. And we almost got a Scarecrow as main villain with a fear-gas vision return of Jack's Joker.
Fuuuuuuuuck. The loss still stings.
GAMERS..
RISE UP!
What a joke.
real question is why cant we get a good live action mr freeze
>inb4 schwarzenegger is a meme
ffffuuck.
Fuckin Mcdonald's.
This movie also had the best looking Gotham city. The designers of the Arkham games copied that style which is why they look so similar and good
based
So did the animated series.
1989 Bateman changed everything.
Yeah, the Keaton movies are the only version where I can really believe, "Bruce Wayne seems like a man who thinks it makes sense to put on a rubber costume and go out at night to fight crime."
I remember a scene in Gotham the TV series when Gordon was almost a copy of the opening scene of Batman Returns (where there is commotion about the birth of Oswald and scared nurse runs down the hallway)
>Pro tip: ur gay
Gotham TV is only worth watching for the burton vibe
I always thought Fassbender could pull off a decent Mr. Freeze
Thinking of watching Batman. AMA.
>tfw TRUST!
