This post was a mess but so am I. I'm eternally envious of the very, very few couples that fall in love in highschool and stay married their whole lives.
I missed out on tons of opportunities with tons of girls, now I'm stuck in my mid 20s having not slept with a girl in years and painfully bitter about the past.

Is it better to have tasted young love than not at all? You'll eternally miss it and it'll never happen again, and you'll always kick yourself over lost opportunities.

That’s fair. I too have made kinos, but at a high school-level class without the support most of the other students had.
I simply learned how to have fun with my writing and acting. We didn’t go into the financial aspect of things. I’ve come a long way since, but that sense of loss is still there.

It really depends on what your long term goals are, I'm going to make a documentary soon; it's lots of work, hard and unless you are high up in the production you probably won't make a load of money, what specific jobs were you looking at? and if It's what you want to do I'd say follow your dreams on principal, we need more good people in the industry.
