The show is embarrassingly bad, it's insulting that they made Critters into this, but it's also very retarded and a lot of fun.
Haven't seen the movie yet. Don't have high hopes.

I only ever saw Ghoulies 3 and I was like eight and don't remember much.
Basically it's all humor and it's very crass and tacky and off-the-wall and there is no horror element at all.

To be fair if I'm watching a movie about little monsters it's mostly to see them mess shit up rather than for the horror aspect.

Ghoulies is garbage. Skip 'em.

Critters 1 had some great horror in it, though.
But yeah, they mess shit up. They could have done it more, though.

the f/x were decent. plenty of critter killing but everything else is cringe. very disappointing, it had a lot of potential. they could have kept all he action but need to rewrite the entire story. especially the shit about the Critter Queen. so cringe...

it's definitely better than 3 & 4, but a few notches below 2.

4 was underrated, especially the scenes with the station computer talking and the guy "hacking" the thing near the start.

Turning Ug into a bad guy was pointless. Only thing I remember liking about 4 was the shot of the baby critters, which was kinda cool..
