What do you hate most about modern tv and film? For me? Diversity quotas.

This guy was pretty based. Late 90’s had so many waifus
Wish his tips were frosted though. Would be perfect
Anyone have the eerie sensation they've been in that very house?
I used to hang out with that guy in high school
Which ones you?
90's...home
The 90s were so comfy
imagine having friends in high school
>hate diversity quotas
>show a room where nearly every poster and toy is of a Jew
What did OP mean by this?
diversity quotas in general don't usually bother me as long as original characters are created for the minority actors, but racewashing of any kind in terms of explicitly defined characters in various adaptations, racial revisionism in historical media, and hamfisted tribal social media politics involving mentally ill people with victim complexes are all extremely fucking obvious and annoying in modern shows.
also they really need to fucking stop with the incredibly unrealistic brown male + attractive non-trashy white female pairings, because it breaks all immersion every time it's depicted.
90's was a horrible decade for film.
prove me wrong.

The 90's were kino and we had loads of blockbusters like Jurrassic Park, Titanic, Independence Day etc. Now all we have are capeshit sequels.
I realized that all sequels movies for franchises I was wanting when I was young happened and are in fact fucking shit.
this decade destroyed my love for blockbusters made by hollywood.
it's overrated but most people here are americans and believe high school is like their tv shows, so the friendless nerds will contradict me with agressivity even if they what missed is not particulary awesome or interesting.
I had a pretty kino high school experience except set in the Midwest instead of LA
why would you have glow in the dark stickers right next to your pillow??
Imagine being a smelly mystery meat incel anime-obsessed gamer loner zoomer.
because its comfy
I wanna go back so bad bros, but here I am in the modern clown world
If you had a shitty childhood, sure.
They stop glowing after thirty minutes or so
I had a bunch of gitd stars stuck to my ceiling. It was nice.
Couldn't care less about diversity quotas, what bums me about contemporary cinema is the lack of exploring the human condition. I guess people in the film industry as of now see it as something not relevant anymore, when it's the one thing that will always be that.
Either film is steadily changing into something that doesn't say anything about us, or it's doing exactly that and I refuse to believe that's what we've become.
i really hate shoehorning in someone being gay which has nothing to do with the plot

this is amazing thanks. but I'm sad too. I really want to go back
The cold shades of color, digital, the repetitive soundtracks, the fight scenes filmed way too fast and/or not featuring real stunts, the CGI instead of blowing up dolls and boxes like in the good old times, the action overall which always seems much faster than before, the quickness privileged over slow-paced suspense.
Of course this is very specific and I know that some current movies aren't like this. I also know older movies have some drawbacks, but I'd rather have them.
Reboots, remakes, reimaginings and soft reboots most of all.
Only humans can explore the human condition
Ubiquitous feminism. The women all act like men, and they're not allowed to lose at anything or be wrong. It's fucking terrible.
