Predator 2018 was just as much a shitfest. Split was fucking boring and the actors were underutilized except for McAvoy. Shazam > Endgame. Brightburn >Endgame too while I'm at it.

Infinity war is the last comic book movie i will go to see because I'm so fucking sick of this genre, but even i have to concede it was a good movie. Endgame was not

>solid character arches
>constant building of stakes and tension till the inevitable final conflict
Endgame
>terrible story structure (first act takes forever to establish anything other than cap sad)
>terrible pacing (there is no building stakes because we've seen the time travel gimmick a million times before and the end battle just sorta happens, the heroes don't know it's coming)
>thanos goes from begrudgingly doing what he thinks is right to psycho who gets off on the idea of wiping out all life
