Yea Forums is a tesla and prius board for low test individuals, why did you think anyone would tell you about a muscle car movie where a chad on amphetamines crashes himself into a bulldozer for no reason?
Never heard of it, looks great, thanks!
The Hitcher (NOT the shitty remake the original 80's Kino) To Live and Die in L.A. and French Connection. Ronin is okay. Short Time (1990)...Blue Brothers. Heres Short Time... youtube.com
Maybe The Driver from 1978?
I actually thought OPs pic was from the Hitcher at first.
I don't like how they fucked up that e-type but then again it was a slightly used common sportscar then not worth a fucking fortune like it is today.
Ditto!
I saw this movie many years ago but I think there was a black Dodge Charger too. Rewatched it few months ago and there's no Charger at all. Mandela effect?
The sequel/remake is actually okay, the Viggo one. Especially if you've seen the original first.
Did you see the extended edition with the deleted scene? The one where "death" appears as a person or something like that. Though Idk if that version is even available so just asking out of curiosity.
Another car kino would be The Driver, from 1978 or so.
I think the cops drive a charger
Thanks and noted, that youtube clip was awesome. I remember seeing The Hitcher, great movie, I love Rutger Hauer. Blues Brothers and French Connection are classics, the other ones I didn't know
Haven't seen this one either, I'll check it out for sure
That's the remake from the 90's.
god, death proof sucked
Yeah I saw there was a remake but I just assumed it was shit. Didn't see the deleted scene
The 70's was chock full of Car stunt kino

Crazy Italian's (Tarantino fave)

How did the decade with the shittiest cars have the most kino car movies?
we have car kino threads all the time faggot
The Driver
Two Lane Blacktop
Le Mans
Grand Prix
The remake is really good too.. Totally different movie though.
The original gone in 60 seconds is also great
The "return to Macon county" movies are not great but they exist
t.. Dad was a car guy
Anyone else like the cheesier movies like Maximum Overdrive and pic related?
>that uncut UK edition
>with all the added metaphysical winks
>that existential trip of Kowalsky
>that cathartic ending freeing his soul
in the top 10 movie of ever really.
I usually see 99% capeshit and dumb bait threads here so I don't visit much, Yea Forums guy for the most part
Based
St Tropez films had crazy car scenes...they were kind of an inspiration to the police academy films. Many bond films were done by these french nutters.

>>that uncut UK edition
Is it possible to acquire this copy?
Vanishing Point
Taxi (the French movie, not the US sitcom)
I got back in the day the region 2 DVD from HMV.co.uk that had both versions of the film.
Maybe look for running times in the torrents.
If you saw some existential metaphysical things in the one you saw and want more, the uncut has a couple more scenes that will add to that.
If you saw the movie as a straight up chase film you will get weirded by the new scenes.
>this fucking english though
Thanks for all these recs anons, I don't have any movies to contribute, but you guys should all check out the original PS1 Driver games.
Also, why do Malaise Era shitboxes make for such great chases?
Maybe you can play BeamNG Drive too.
Not cars specifically but vehicle kino in general that have the same vibe:
>Wages of Fear
>Sorcerer
>Race With the Devil
>Hell Drivers
>Ice Cold in Alex
>The African Queen
And if you're desperate:
>Violent Road
make way, faggots
t. reddit
You forgot Baby Driver there I think
The African Queen is a boat movie in the jungle. Wtf does it have to do with car movies?
White Lightening
Gator
I don't know many car movies so I just went with vehicle movies. It was reaching but forgive me, I tried, but it's still a good movie.
I also considered Dust Devil but that seemed a bit too much.
>Drive
>essential
You already have The Driver on there, which Drive rips-off and adds nothing exceptional to.
Sorcerer is ultimate Friedkin Kino
Need to add Thunder Road and Gumball Rally
That would be Cruising, by the end of the movie I was a fag.
THIS
Underrated
BLITZKRIEG!
Mein niggermeister. Death Race 2000 is the best worst movie ever made.
Smokey and the Bandit
Gone in 60 Seconds (original)
The Wraith
Thunder Road
Two Lane Blacktop
Worth watching just for Isabelle Adjani

movie taking the piss out of italians.
>Plz recommend more car kino
The thinking mans 21st century car movie is right here, cuz.
If you have an iq in the 90-125 range you won’t appreciate the brilliance of this flick
A great car movie unites rednecks and intellectuals alike while the grey undaring masses stare blankly at it and scoff
i fapped to nathalie kelley nudes
Are you actually being serious or ironic here?
TFANTF movies look like total crap but I know that this one is oddly controversial in a way that might scare off the' grey undaring masses'.
>rips-off and adds nothing exceptional to
Replace it with Baby Driver then for adding the very exceptional tinnitus musical gimmick.
Mein negger. Cannon Ball Run 1 and 2. Great car movies.
Guerilla Film making at its finest. Literally filmed on a random street tearing ass and wrecking cars.
>dabs as he dies
Visionary
>for no reason
fucking pleb
>that uncut UK edition
Did they cut naked bike girl in the American release?
Downloading now, thanks for the rec
No, it adds a certain night meeting towards the end and some cool dialogue.
meant this one
youtube.com
>Blues Brothers
Probably the greatest movie ever made.

Cruising, by the great William Friedkin, who made the best truck kino with Sorcerer and the best car chases in French Connection and To live and die in LA. As the title indicates, it's about car enthusiasts hitting the roads and cruising around the American cities, but with a classic Friedkin twist... Best way to enjoy it, don't spoil it for yourself, don't look anything up, just download the torrent and watch it.
Tokyo drift is true kino. It was basically a DTV movie with the franchise being left to die without Vin and Paul Walker, so the producers just gave it to a no name indie filmmaker and let him do his own thing with little budget, he made the karate kid with cars and managed to simultaneously bring real heart to the franchise while also treating it like a complete joke, playing up the retardation in all the right ways. It's both baffling and genuinely charming.
Maybe my favorite movie ever, so good
The Getaway has some cool car stuff, as well. But isn't a car kino, per se. But anything with Steve Mcqueen will be BASED. He really slaps Ali McGraw around, and she wasn't expecting it
youtube.com
It even has the driver from Bullit in it. Very underrated movie from the 70's.
>The Wraith
movie kind of sucks, but young ripe Sherlyn looks as succulent in this as any (female) female has ever looked
