Sony still has the rights to all Spider-Man villains, there's no reason they can't still do it.

Kraven would be awesome. Especially with an aging Spider-Man. Have a villain that mercilessly hunts Spider-Man like an animal through the whole movie and wears him down. This could play into Spidey's old age starting to get to him. Have Spider-Man get fucked up really bad and barely escape with his life for the middle act. The final act could have Spider-Man in his Last Stand costume since his normal suit is damaged. Final battle in the rain where Tobey gives it his all and absolutely fucks Kraven not through brute strength but by using his intelligence - something that didn't come from his powers. Proving once again that Peter was always Spider-Man - regardless of age or whether or not he actually has powers.
