if you look closer at the themes in the movie you will notice that's it's all about racemixing and destroying traditional europe with hordes of migrants while the any resistance fails to stop it

i didn't get mad at the second half because the movie is nauseating and unbearable from the first scene. there was no chance of confusing it for a hollywood type film so i don't know how that happened to so many people. when you see the deep pockmarks on the skin of the crew and everyone is shot so ugly and unflatteringly, and saying such inhuman shit, it's clearly some horror thing and they're all antagonists. the only thing i found jarring was how it turned out you actually are supposed to sympathise with them and it did actually try to be a conventional film in that regard lol. no thanks i don't want to bond with some gross junkie monsters i'll leave that to you boyle

apparently it was because shooting DV was the only way they could film the deserted London scenes on their small budget
they had a window of less than 30 minutes to shoot all that material, the city wouldn't close down the streets for any longer and it would have taken hours to do a full set up with film equipment
though why they decided to film the final scene on real film is lost on me, is that some sort of hope metaphor?
