You only realized this now? The only difference with video games is that its a fairly new thing there because it used to be that if you working as a video game journalist you were basically someone with no formal education as a journalist but mostly just someone who did it because they liked video games and half of the time all you really were doing was acting as a marketing tool for publishers and studios.
