definitely easy to miss this one but once you figure it out it's great, snyder truly is an auteur

i don't get it

what am i looking at here?

i'd rather not explain it, the subtlety and the resulting epiphany you experience once you figure it out is too good to just give away

bravo zach!

>the light nigger leads the dark niggers, white men and spics

The rock more like humpty dumpty lmao. This nigga look like an egg

Why did people hate this movie? I'm not a fan of Bay by any means. Kinda hate his stuff. But thought Pain and Gain was kind of ok. Like a 7/10 'pretty good' but it just got torn apart.

>Just the tip of the Walberg

took me a decade. bravo Zach

It always always makes people feel good to pretend they are discerning, and Bay kino is their favorite target for maintaining the illusion. Pain is a great movie, fucking hilarious

The cinematography in Man of Steel is really good

behold the king of symbolism

It's the only Bay movie that's cool for middlebrows to like

Comparatively? yes.

Have you ever noticed that during this shot, the view is angled such that the ground and the sky are perfectly even in the frame? What did Nolan mean by this? Let me tell you.

They're not balancing for CIA alone. Nolan is using natural symbolism to show the moral dichotomy between CIA and Bane. CIA's lofty aspirations towards achieving law, order and justice (the sky) are being challenged by the dirty reality of Bane's life in the shadows (the ground). At the beginning of the movie, of this divine confrontation, the forces are in balance but that quickly changes. Bane crashing CIA's plane, a physical metaphor for his principles, from Heaven to the Earth shows Bane's initial victory for darkness. Bruce Wayne therefore becomes the inheritor of CIA's spirit as he finds himself stuck in the Pit, a location deep within the Earth, where the light had been sent to die. But Batman overcomes that, rises from the Earth, and defeats Bane, and is last seen in his own plane, the same physical metaphor that CIA had. Whereas CIA was crashed to the Earth, Batman flew off into Heaven therefore showing that morality and justice still have a place in the world. CIA probably smiled down on him

It is. Snyder always nails the visuals. He is practically a master of the visual medium. A lot of credit to his cinematographer.

Because lightweight "intellectual" film critics are incapable of critical thinking and automatically hate Michael Bay for reasons they cannot articulate.

please explain

100% it is, the only thing that's hard to miss is Robo walking on water, but even still the scene doesn't really draw any attention to it.

yeah i've been staring at this image and i still don't get it... is this how it feels like to be mindfucked by zaddy?
