> damn. It's all over. We're screwed!
> Wait. It's not over. We're not screwed!
repeat 100x
If you watch this show for the plot you might be retarded
Mildly amusing techcel cringe.
fpbp. it gets old really fast
I watch it for the 5 jokes they recycle every episode
True. It's fucking annoying
who here /jianyang/
The first 3 seasons are solid. It starts to nosedive midway through S3 as it begins to take the plot overly seriously and you spend a lot more time embroiled in poorly written and acted drama and monologuing and a LOT less jokes.
r/asianmasculinity was seething over this character
not a hot dog
but what if
WHAT IF
we pivot the company aGaIn??
Specifically, the main chick and her lady boss who takes over after that one dude dies are both awful. Any scene between the two of them is like watching high school theater.
if you're involved in the tech industry then its fun for the surprisingly accurate jabs it throws at it. the jokes are pretty good when they land but plotwise its VERY formulaic to the point where i only remember jokes from it and virtually none of the actual plot. also it seems for every based character in the show there is an equally unbased character
they always try to move the story forward in big ways but i think it would serve better if it was a little more like workaholics and had more one-off episodes instead of trying for some grand dramatic story arch for the whole season that in the end didn't even go anywhere. like even x-files was good for having both but this is kind of missing out on the opportunity to just watch the cast exercise comedic muscle without the plot being so stressed.
Just to watch TJ Miller yell at the little yellow guy.
Very autistic ways of how not to solve simple problems. But as said.
Top kek. Why
so, it is a comedy show that goes to shit after trying to be more serious? i wonder where i've seen that. thanks for rundown. i will give it a try and stick for a season or two if it is entertaining enough
China will grow larger
So entourage with nerds
no, it's a comedy show where they constantly repeat the overarching plot every season and also repeat the jokes every episode
watch one season and you'll see all it has to offer
pretty much, just watch it until you're bored of it
member when that TJ guy called in a bomb treat on a train IRL? Like...why did he do that again?
there's something wrong with his brain
Good show, steady drop in quality until TJ Miller leaves, then a solid season 5.
