Do they have such a thing as "amber alerts" in america? An amber alert here is when a child has gone missing and suspected kidnapped, and the authorities send out a system message to your cellphone, that blares and alarm and tells you the details of what to look out for. It's annoying is fuck because they always get sent out at 3 am.

Also sometimes they're fucking province wide. So if you live in Windsor Ontario, the amber alert could be from sudbury, which is a fucking 10 hour drive away. But usually it's from the toronto area, which is still 4 hours from me.

I assume you can't turn off nuclear bomb warnings on your phone either, so it's like that, except much less important.
