How can anyone NOT like Batman 66?
>famous billing of actors
>doesnt take itself seriously
>based on the comics
>wacky gadgets and good clean fun
How can anyone NOT like Batman 66?
it's actually the GOAT
Because retards think comic book shows and movies have to be dark, realistic, and serious
The riddler tricking Batman into breaking into a museum to stop him "stealing" a priceless artwork that he'd secretly purchased legally and calling the cops to arrest Batman and Robin was priceless
My only complaint was they didn't keep the same actors for their villain characters. Other than that, it's my favourite batman.
I didn't like it when I was a kid because I was too stupid to realize it was a comedy.
I like that Adam West played Batman and Wayne as a straight character while everyone else hammed it up. It's the little things like that that made the show so good.
>Batman gives hamfisted moral speech
>robin: gosh Batman you’re right
Classic
BIFF
the movie had a GOAT opening
>that jazzy theme

i didn't realize it was a comedy when i was a kid and loved it anyway. i love it even more now that i'm an adult and i understand the humor.
I still watched it every day so I must have liked it on some level but I'm pretty certain I thought it was stupid. I just didn't get it back then, I was like what the other user said, a kid that thought Batman had to be serious business.
the problem is that it gets too over the top by the later seasons, to just becoming so bad its bad. king tut? egghead? come on
This show had a food fight with Vincent Price and an episode where Liberace (Liberace!) played two roles. But the victory lap is the Avengers parody episode (Diana Rigg sneers down at you from the ceiling).
>Phone rings
>"Yes this is millionaire Bruce Wayne"
Adam West was actually pretty good in this abysmal post-apocalyptic early nineties flick where he plays a doomed police chief.
I like Egghead though
Third season gets repetitive. But yeah it's fantastic.
How can anyone NOT like Batman Forever?
>it gets too over the top
not really possible. but they seemed to run out of ideas and had too many villains.
batnipples
and that's a good thing.

Are they wrong? Comic book nerds are so obsessed with people taking comic books seriously as art but they're disgusted by any writer or director that actually attempts to make serious art with the form, and praise everything under the sun that "doesn't take itself too seriously"
You can't give pretend soliloquies about how "important art is to you" and yada yada and then turn right around and say "I don't like things that take themselves seriously"
BABAAY
ID COMPARE YOU TO A KISS FROM A ROSE ON THE GRAVE
Same. I read a lot of Batman comics as a kid so the cheesiness was right up my alley.
>the nobility of the almost human porpoise!
Because it is cringe level dumb. Only thing good about it is the leggy dames. It convinced generations that Batman always has to have a campy element .... because it's "just a comic book"
the movie is outstanding
>did this P N Guin leave an address?
>no just a PO Box. gosh batman you sound grim
>selling a pre-atomic submarine to someone who doesnt even leave an address....
It’s quite based and possibly redpilled as well. Also
>mr. oceanbring
F
pleb it's Frank Gorshin, don't you know him from Star Trek at least?
I used to think that show was a comedy, but now I realize, it’s a tragedy
1966 Batmobile is best Batmobile
>based on the comics
wrong. it's just a comedy using the same character names. comics were never like that
>that black and red edge style
just like the basedbird SR-71
If this image was a statistics graph it would just a downhill slope that would make Gal Gadot's forehead jealous.
True. Love 1 and 2 the most.
2 will always be the goat
I don't wanna be how everybody else is
I'd much rather be original
2
