Biggest problem I had with it was how Billy and his Shazam alter ego felt like two completely different characters, with one being this brooding, sad 14yo and the other a silly, wacky clown.
Also, where the fuck is his "wisdom of Solomon?".
Most of the time he comes off as a bumbling moron.

This something they've never really gotten right about Spider-Man/Peter Parker, so I was glad to see someone get it right even if it was with a different character.
As for the wisdom, the entire movie is about him "gegting out of his own wah" and unlocking his wisdom. That's what the Sins are talking about when they say, "If the champion comes into his full potential, he will defeat us." Billy has to overcome his obsession with chasing a fantasy family and learn to see the cbance for happiness and family that he's spent his youth running away from. Once he does that, he comes into his full power. Bonus round: in Hebrew folklore and legend, Solomon was said to have had the power of discerning, naming, and binding evil spirits, and it was his wisdom that ultimately defeated Sivana and the Sins.
