no Pete is a sperg and an icel (despite being married) and it was funny when his wife put him in the pied-a-terre cuck shed
How can the best mad man not be mad?
peggy... was the maddest man of them all
well, objectively yes, but women always have a baseline level of insanity that isn't used in judging them, it's part of their female privilege
I never think about him at all.
>mfw not thinking about him
Thats an odd way to spell Ken
Bert
Roger was a mad lad.
WHY EVEN BRING IN AN ACCOUNT
/ourguy/
We should all try to be like him
Arguably the only good guy in the office
>It's the valve!
funniest character by far
Just got to that scene last night. Did people really suspect computers that much?
Burt > Roger > Stan > Don > Ginsberg > Peggy > Ken > Pete > Joan > Harry > Paul
No fuck him and fuck that whole group of frat boys.
Those little one-off lines were the best. One scene that gets me every time is when Roger and Peggy are in the elevator, Peggy starts complaining to Roger that he didn't contract her for work and he goes "You know we used to have an executive elevator..."
>Stan ranked #3
"I told him to just be himself. I guess that was pretty mean."
might be my favorite
Burt > Roger > Pete > Harry > Ginsberg > Don > Stan > Paul > Ken > Peggy > Joan
Why do you put harry so high? His entire personality was "kissass" up until he moves to California
Just something about the doofus that I liked. Wasn't exactly endearing but he was a fun watch.
Most based - Roger
Most redpilled - Don
>The first of never!
There was also that part where Peggy comes to Don to sign off on something he didn't need to sign off on, but she was really looking for intel. You remember? But Roger was in Don's office, goes to leave, opens the door and see's Peggy, and goes "Didn't we give you an office!?" and then walks past her. Just wrecks me every time.
Why are 12 year old "Who's your favorite pony" threads the worst, and why is it this one?
Reminder that this fat tryhard piece of shit got to fuck Joan and basically you're fucking retarded.
THAT IS A SENSITIVE PIECE OF HORSE FLESH!
or
OH LORDY, NO NEW BUSINESS HERE SIR!
Harry was the turd in the punch bowl but you gotta admire his loyalty
>"Tabling a discussion doesn't need a vote, it just needs to be seconded"
>What is this, parliament!?
so based
I wonder how he did out in California? Did what's-her-name join him out there? I bet they dropped the Krishna bit in the early 70s and became boomer parents to bad seed grunge kids, by 92 Paul was banging on a bedroom door and demanding the White Zombie be turned down
I could see Kinsey becoming a successful writer out there. That Jewish manlet had no talent and ended up a hollywood producer.
please fren, do a cytube mad men streaming weekend
Kinsey would become one of those weird bearded bay-area writers of the 70s/80s whose books only came out in soft-cover and the cover illustrations looked like they were done in colored pencil by the author, his wife would have gotten in on the ground floor of some tech company and they would have lived the good boomer life in the 90s after kicking their kids out and going on yearly cruises
>That Jewish manlet had no talent and ended up a hollywood producer.
yes, but his luck ran out on 9/11 when he got on that plane in Boston
Why do you fags hate Joan? She's supposed to be office bimbo but she's unironically based as fuck.
I love Joan, and I would love if Joan loved me, and I would make love to Joan's bra, and I would love if she sat... I just really like Joan.
Pic related should've been endgame.
Every scene of these two together was x2 more interesting.
I can't remember his name but i like the old man who's sitting down in the picture. He mentioned Ayn Rand, and made me start reading atlas shrugged. I haven't finished the book yet, I dunno if i ever will, but it proved very impactful at a time when i needed it.
I like mad men. It's very diversified, but within a certain corporate culture. It's the concentrated version of diversity. Real, somehow.
Why didn't Don get Sally the best mommy possible?
dude, you can't mix male and female Alpha-potency like that, she would have killed him with a frying pan to the head the first time he cheated on her
dude, stop please you're going to derail the thread as all the fa/tv/irgins have all the blood rush from their heads to elsewhere
The doctor raped her and she took it. Women feign confidence. It's a defense mechanism.
>Mad Men changes his life
it's the show that keeps giving, and not just in quotes, memes, and fap worthy pics
for me, its duck
>implying he would ever cheat again after being with Joan
Don just wanted someone to understand and accept him but he was a fucking coward and bailed whenever stuff was too personal.
Joan can already read him perfectly, it was only a matter of time before she would have found out about his past and her response would've had been literally "who cares lets fuck."
yeah but she got him back when the time was right, after cucking him she finally kicked him to the curb, and that's after breaking a vase over his head, they have their ways of making you pay
He was a retard. Joan was perfect for him.
>Shel Keneally’s plane was just shot down over the Sea of Japan.. no survivors...
I don't think it would have been smooth sailing for the two of them, just look at how quick she was to turn on him after he cost her some money, one would have killed the other by the mid-70s and it would have made a great episode of Columbo
What about ol’ Leonard
PHELPS. BADGE 1247.
he's still in the fridge, got passed over for some cold pizza
THIS IS DETECTIVE BERTRAM COOPER. BADGE 2.
yeah but that time in the 1950s when he took a vacation to Okinawa and got in that drunken bar fight, he's lucky he didn't hang for killing those 16 US sailors and the bar owner, good thing one of them pulled a knife and he could claim self defense
This was one of the only parts of the last couple episodes I really liked. Don seeing a foil of himself, somebody as empty and alone as him but without the constructed Don Draper persona to put out.
>LIFE IN THE FAST CRAAANNEE
Duck was annoying as fuck when he was sober and working in the firm, but his shitfaced shenanigans after he got out and would only show up a couple times a season are great
Now Lou, Lou can fuck right off
>dude, you can't mix male and female Alpha-potency like that
Best is always attracted to best, it's simple biology.
kek, is there such thing as being a closet-alpha? he was such a passive-aggressive Chad, and he really scored when he practically invented computer porn in the 80s and ended up with that centerfold from Hustler
I HEARD IT ALL FROM YOUR FIRST FART TO YOUR LAST DYING BREATH
i hate lou because he was fine with mediocre work. he didnt demand the best
Joan? I would worship her ass.
no best struggles for supremacy with best until they both die of exhaustion, she needed to marry an easy going airline pilot who looked like this and would be gone 90% of the time
>You can't have her
>Why not?
>Cause Scout's Honor
>Campbell
Never trust those treacherous bastards
>ANOTHER SUCKER PUNCH FROM A CAMPBELL! HE MURDERED MY ANCESTORS IN THEIR SLEEP!
THE KING ORDERED IT!
>THE KING ORDERED IT
We got two.
>marries Peggy and saves her from becoming a roastie cat lady
it's like you guys don't even know who the Madest Madman is
I like Mad Men
that's like practically having four of something
same!
...what is it?
Why is this show so fucking good bros?
Look out user, best girl coming through
Do you have your fingers in your ears? It's a chip'n'dip.
>Don could have used that mouth as a cum dumpster every day just before his nap but didn't
SAME PRICE AS A CHIP 'N DIP
yeah but in her day this hellcat could suck-start a Model T, just ask the doughboys on that troop train
>Do you have your fingers in your ears? It's a chip'n'dip
...?
just watch the show, it's in season 1, and get the Chinamen out of my office
SAME PRICE AS A CHIP 'N DIP
>Did you enjoy ze fuhrer's birthday?
>May he live for a thousand years!
I know it was supposed to be Hitler's 75th birthday that day but I can't believe they had Don and Roger acknowledge it
Alpha x Alpha reaches mutual understanding on ground of being alpha alone, literally no one else will be your equal and understand you better than your r63 self. It also creates best offspring made from the very best genes.
Todays incels are formerly men like Pete who'd be banging secretaries left and right
their offspring would have been glorious
jew kid went mad lad, I felt bad for him desu.
i cried
he was getting more and more and more handsome every season, I would kiss him relentlessly, and the eyepatch just make him more sexier, no homo, I would suck his nuts.
Stan is /ourguy/
he was the worst character, even SJWs hated him.
he was always wound too tight, I liked the character too but when he revealed his coping mechanism for dealing with his childhood (the Martian thing) it was obvious he was very troubled, don't know why brainlets always say "how weird they just had him go nuts, it was like out of nowhere"
didn't know Raimi gave it a try on writing this episode, based af.
>DUDE AYN RAND LMAO
get out reprobate
It's not fair.
you are such a Harry
I couldn't BELIEVE he was gay!
I hated Roger until he became a meme character. Then he turned 10/10. Second would Pete, he could play serious and meme all at once.
>Great character never shows up in show again
Why?
Ken Cosgrove, accounts
>You people
YOU KNOW WE HAD A PUBLIC OFFERING UNDERWAY?
AND NOW IT'S RUINED!
He was much better when he was just some flamboyant dude with style and class but still had a hot wife. But of course they made him a degenerate fag. I knew THEY would out him eventually but I was hoping THEY wouldn’t.
he got hugged by Don so naturally he's at the top of the list
him and Pete were ahead of the curb, they carried these companies on their fucking backs, everyone else was just drinking and doing dumb shit
who /ternobyl/ here
would have saved that cute and funny girl
>user, we are going to address that remark.
>best character
>commits sodoku
isn't fair
shit I even like the character of Glen Bishop and honestly don't see anything wrong with his "acting" since he's supposed to be an awkward young sperg, he was perfect for the role and I bet most of the "adults" complaining about it weren't quite as eloquent as they think they were back when they were autistic 12 year olds
>Lane Pryce
>Moriarty
>Francis Crozier
> Valery Legasov
this man's unstoppable kino
i know he's in the expanse and the crown but hasnt watch yet
>What are the events in life? Like, you see a door. The first time you come to it, you say, ‘Oh, what’s on the other side of the door?’ Then you open a few doors and then you say, ‘I think I want to go over a bridge this time. I’m tired of doors.’ Finally you go through one of these things, and you come out the other side, and you realize that’s all there are: doors! And windows and bridges and gates. And they all open the same way. And they all close behind you. Look, life is supposed to be a path, and you go along, and these things happen to you, and they’re supposed to change your direction, but it turns out that’s not true. Turns out the experiences are nothing. They’re just pennies you pick up off the floor, stick in your pocket, and you’re just going in a straight line to you-know-where.
What did he mean by this?
Roger >> Cooper > Dick > Pete > Lane >>> Harry > Kenny > Stan > Don > Ted > Kinsey >> Duck > Ginsberg > Rumsen > Sal > Hanry Francis >>> Bobby >>>>>> Glenn
He had a life too easy and no purpose
He called Max Weinbergs kid creepy so he kicked him off the show
Source?
It's Pete because he learns that he isn't Don or Roger, and to stop trying to be them, because he never will (Also that Don is a coward and ruins everything in his own life). When PEte begins to be himself and work hard, he gets everything he ever wanted. Roger is also awesome
Shame he got cut, I really liked this character
>.
No way, they shouldn't have been together. It's better that way
It's great how after more life experience, you relate to different characters differently. They wrote them so real. You can understand some of the motivations that you couldn't when you were younger. I basically watch one episode a week. Takes about 2 years to get through the series
>it's a Betty episode
I genuinely liked Roger more than Don. I would love a prequel just about Roger Sterling
So, he keeps claiming that he got two of them, but then at home, Trudy yells at him for giving that one back in a way that implies they only got one... but later on at a party, we see the chip n dip again. What's the real story, here?
Same, I was wondering what happened to him and hoping they would bring him back for a few minutes at least
Can we all agree that Betty was the worst? Or is it Megan who takes that role?
This would be kino. Starts with Roger coming back after the War in 45, ends in 1955
Hands down Roger.
No one is as humerus, entertaining and quick witted as good old Rog Sterling. Stole every scene he was in
How much of a pleb can you be? He was gay in the first episode. Listen to his dialogue.
Megan is way worse than Betty, how is this even a question
I don't think I'm memeing here when I say that Mad Men is the greatest show of all time. I've seen it four times, and currently rewatching with my girlfriend. I get something new out of it every single rewatch.
And the answer is obviously Roger
what the fuck does that even mean or are you doing the funny meme
roger is the most carefree and don has the best understanding of the world
I feel like that scene in Cooper's office with the Rothko and Harry gets called out on being a kissass was the defining moment in his character development, he decided to play the game for himself and turned into a full on hustler, granted he was often behind the curtain
The writing. It unironically makes me want to become a writer. I know it's impossible to make it big as a TV writer or get in with the Hollyjews but a man can dream.
This was Don's perfect match and he ruined it.
He is not the maddest mad man for that very reason
That's why he was an interesting character. He had to try so hard to be alpha when Don just sat around drinking. I didn't watch much of the show but Pete was definitely entertaining.
>find perfect match
>throw it away for a stupid, annoying, hot girl 20 years younger than you
>Don truly was a Mad Man
because he quit the advertising industry to do something more profitable and won back his wife and family, true redemption.
the second is the guy who lost an eye.
It would have ruined their relationahip if they got together
Don's a coward and so wanted an inexperienced woman who wouldn't challenge him to grow and be better. Same reason all the incels on /pol/ want to marry a 13 year old girl
