Sometimes I look at the catalog and I realize how bad this place is.
Nobody takes film seriously anymore.
Every thread is just a rehash of a previous one.
Even the few threads that start off well get derailed nearly instantly.
Deleting those few good threads also happens way too much.

If you wanted to discuss films in a serious manner, you should’ve found a niche forum online that’s not associated with a large congregate of people, such as reddit or Yea Forums.
This is how it’s been for the past 19 years. Large forums are just filled with people with little knowledge who think they know everything; the empty can rattles the loudest. The people who love film, cherish it and know about it’s history will seldomly post because they know their posts will either be neglected due to mass shitposting or pseudo intellectuals will “tear them apart” without saying anything of substance; a large waste of time.
