What was the point of this character?
What was the point of this character?
Queenslayer.
He doesn't want it.
you could ask this question about anyone in that show
He was important because you needed a character through which you could encounter and learn about the white walkers, which were important because.... uh..... hmm..
MUH KWEEEN
So there can be a prequel series.
They should have stopped the show earlier. I've read that their primary goal was to get to the red wedding. They should have either stopped there or stopped after season 4, once it was clear that they were not going to have any books to rely on, and that the newer books they did have were non adaptable to television.
gary stu with plot armor
>or stopped after season 4
And think about how nice of an ending that would have been. Joffrey dead, Twying dead, Tyrion fleeing, white walkers are still mysterious, final shot of Arya sailing off to Braavos. And you never have to find out how lame all of it will end up being.
GRRM left after it too.
brainlet
Man how can a setting that interesting turn out to be so boring. It's like every character just straight went into the most obvious choice of action without encountering any resistance.
>complains about being bastard
>he is tread like Ned Stark reall son and at the end is show to be more noble than his cousins
>doesnt become ranger at night watch
>"I dont need doggy, I´m not Stark"
>is handled by fate cool albino dogy
>becomes Lord commander servant/successor and fucking Valerian sword. Not vallerian swords of night watch but valerian swords of Mormonts when Mormonts are not extinct house (there were lot of girls and Bear island is more matriarchal)
>wants to run out of NW and joins Rob army
>is catch but not punish (which is a joke to the deserter beheded by Ned)
>is friend by every good character while every mean, ugly and corrupt ones hates him
and the list goes one.
While tyrion has the biggest plot armor his life was generally shit. Jon case is worst because in a series build around idea of feudalism, religions and prophecies are bad abd stupid almost every reader and noble chracters treat Jon as Jesus second coming. Even loosing Ygrit was to his benefit
>my waifu and potential bastard child are dead no I can fully comment to be in Night watch
He never wanted it.
And who has a better story, than _______________________________________
He was the most important character in the show and literally the only morally sound person/main hero after Ned. Sansa was ok but she was power hungry and Arya is a little weirdo.
>and literally the only morally sound person/main hero after Ned
Jon is even a successor to this guy too. I’m not saying he was THE only good guy but he moved the series forward as the driving force of good in a sea of maniacs and power hungry whores.
Fuck Jon Snow and fuck the Starks
Being cucked into infinite
That's Arya
Armpits
>Sansa was ok
find me a white male in the last few years that was actually "a hero"
you can't. luke skywalker, all these white male heroes...destroyed.
Jon was fucking based until S7 dude, also there's plenty of movies with a white male as a hero
muhqueen
I dont understand why him and dany barely talked this season
One conversation would have solved all their problems. They didnt address the nicest once and he was acting like a npc the whole time
I hope book Jon is smarter
Shit character always, pointless series
book Jon doesn't give a fuck about Lannisters and want to fuck shit up
>It's death and destruction I want to bring down upon House Lannister, not scorn
>until
luke skywalker was "based" until tlj...your point?
muh king
combination of d&d shit writing and GRRM shit ending
>stark good
>targ bad
>tree wizard surveillance psycho good
fangirl wank material
Also, Sansa safe in the Vale and Bran finally reaching the the Three Eyed Raven. All the Stark children were perfectly setup to begin their training so the end of S4 would have made the perfect point to put the show on hiatus and come back after a time jump. The only one that doesn't work out is Jon and Stannis at the wall. That plot point would have had to have been significantly reworked to make it a stopping-point, but yeah... they should have stopped after S4.
