When women are taught the same values as men in regards to the military, when they are trained properly and educated fairly, have shown themselves to be as competent in combat as men.

Actually, I think it proves the reasonability of Yea Forums on that issue.

The occasional girl power sub plot or movie is fine.. its just when so many movies are obsessed with girl power and the male characters have their actualy competencies stripped away and when this goes on for years and years and across all forms of media and throughout politics and culture.... that it becomes annoying.

The movie itself is very cheesy and built around a basic love triangle and yet it’s one of my favorite movies ever. I can forgive some kind of girl power thrown in wether intended or not.

The peak of a feminine body is not as strong as the peak of a masculine body. A military does not rely on its soldiers being in peak physical form, in fact almost all soldiers fall short of this standard. The average female soldier would be able to match the average male soldier with the slightest difference in physical conditioning.
