Getting out of middle management can be incredibly difficult, especially as most people there are fucking morons that no one likes. The most successful tend to be people who get involved in other areas of the business and are confident in themselves and their abilities, not just brown nosing obsessives who only focus on raw team performance.

I lived like that for 7 months and then ran out of money so went back to work. Developed knee problems because I was sitting down cross legged for so much of the day during those 7 months. Regret it. Also gained 20lb.
but the freedom was fucking nice. I don't mind working, I just hate the obligation. The type of field where you can go in whenever the fuck you want and work as long as you want is truly king.

congrats but most of us don't speak corporate jargon and so that all sounds like gibberish. "test analyst" and "test consultant" are extremely vague and bland, you have to understand.
God I hate wageslave jobs so much.
I currently work at a wageslave job but my boss agreed that I only have to work 3 days a week for 12 hours a day so I can pursue other things like going back to school or getting a trade.
I'm glad I don't work for a terrible manager.
