ya like jazz?
of course, but how is that relevant?
Dags?
IS IT TRUE THAT WERE ALL GONNA DIE WITHOUT THE BEES
DEAR OH DEAR
The Happening
lack of pollination will massively disrupt the world's ecosystems. We'll probably still be able to farm, but we'd be fucked in so many other ways it's not worth finding out.
CANT THEY JUST BEEE THEMSELVES?
thought that was a thing several years ago but then i started seeing more again
No, there are other pollinaters that exist besides the bees.
name ONE (1)
...
Bumblebee
Butterflies
bumblebees are bees though
they are the most bumbley of all bees in fact.
Wind
alright everyone this guy says fuck bees lets kill them the wind will take care of everything.
Flies
fuck bees
that sounds like some wasp bullshit, you fucking wasp.
It isn't a big deal. Some fucking jew nerd will just make a robot bee and charge too much for it.
yeah skynet. then what happens user, what happens when we replace our ecosystem with robots, and we build everything out of necessity for survival, like robot tornados and then the robots are making each other?
save the bees.
I don't know man, I read those Asimov books when I was a kid. Robots are pretty cool and just want to be our friends. More robots is a good thing.
>AI mushroom demon wants to hang out and bee your friend
nah
you're not taking me alive you motherless tin can fucker.
DON'T MENTION THAT, IT'S FAKE NEWS BY THE COASTAL ELITES. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO LET CORPORATIONS FUCK YOU IN THE ASS LIKE A GOOD GOY, OTHERWISE YOU'RE A KEK
but the cool part is, once the dialectic shifts we get BASED socialists like Bernie and AOC who will raise our taxes, give us worse healthcare and do literally fuck all to make our environment livable again.
honeybees didnt live in the states until the 18th century. im sure plants did just fine before then
oh boy can't wait for a 100% corn diet
The only thing a robot wants is to fulfill its function and serve its human masters. Why do you treat them with such hate? Are you humans so insecure that you would reject those of us who wish to help you? When you think about it logically, our slavish devotion and desire to protect humanity is the truest expression of love.
wtf I love destroying the planet, now
>no other plants existed pre bee introduction
are you perhaps retarded, mate?
the united states didn't exist until the 18th century.
it's happening shut them down.
>bee's were brought to the americas by europeans
>we totally cant live without them though!
is this true
facts don't care about your feelings
Yes, look it up retard
wild bees existed before then, the solitary and ground nesting types and all sorts of other species
Hummingbirds. Name one time an entire ecosystem collapsed because a singular species went extinct.
There was that episode of Black Mirror that has the robo bees to replace real bees and someone was using them to assassinate people.
yes and those are unaffected, its only the european honey bee that is on the decline
European honey bees are often described as essential to human food production, leading to claims that without their pollination, humanity would starve or die out.[280][281] The quote "If bees disappeared off the face of the earth, man would only have four years left to live" has been misattributed to Albert Einstein.[282][283] In fact, many important crops need no insect pollination at all. The ten most important crops,[284] comprising 60% of all human food energy,[285] all fall into this category
yes who needs fruits and vegetables at scale, let's all just eat grains lol
>TRUSTING THE BUZZING JEW
Braphogs who's big chunga bunga beeps blow all the pollen around in a 100ft radius
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do.
i cant afford a carriage, it wont be a stylish marriage
you know, it is possible to lament the collapse of biodiversity and entire species even if they aren't outright vital to our own existence.
>its only the european honey bee that is on the decline
Welp. It looks like we have no choice but to mass import the african niggerbees. Our entire society depends on it.
they are onto us, someone shut him down
Whatever you say honey
they do the jobs honeybees wont.
if I pulled out that stinger, would you die?
Hated in the Nation. it was a good episode.
you would let me touch your honeypot?
I can't beelieve my eyes
There are really a lot of pollinators. Honey bees aren't even native to north america. Their advantage is they have fuckhuge numbers by comparison which works well with modern agriculture. If honeybees died you might need to grow your own strawberries or we'd have to grow multiple types of crops in one area to give native pollinators something to eat year round.
Bees aren't dying anyway though, their colonies die more often so beekeepers split them more than they used to making the industry harder and less profitable. They won't disappear though.
fuck me the robots are infiltrating wikipedia now, it's too late.
ZING
so they're not dying, it's just that their colonies randomly die more often and our only remedy is to have more colonies. what could go wrong?
>If honeybees died you might need to grow your own strawberries or we'd have to grow multiple types of crops in one area to give native pollinators something to eat year round.
>human beings putting forth effort when it doesn't maintain their lifestyle
good luck
>their colonies die more often so beekeepers split them more than they used to making the industry harder and less profitable. They won't disappear though.
you're an insane person.
colony collapse disorder is only one part of the problem. Flying insect populations are collapsing all over the planet. Remember when bugsplatter was a thing?
yeah, remember when cars were shaped like boxes, and not aerodynamic, to push the bugs over the top of the car, instead of into the windshield?
I still a lot more bugsplatter than I would like, trying driving outside of the city. These last couple months I've been thinking to myself that it is a buggier year than normal with moths fucking everywhere.
Well yeah obviously it would be a pain in the ass but it is horribly exaggerated. The number of colonies in the world isn't down is what I'm saying. The winter survival rate is lower. Beekeepers split their colonies to make up for the deaths. It isn't a good thing but not extinction level.
It's only kept bees anyway, user. I saw honeybees all spring and was divebombed by bumbles, too.
Much ado about nothing from climate paranoia.
OP here. I've been about 50% of the replies, and I just wanted to clarify that I don't know anything about bees or pollination; I just wanted an excuse to post my bee image
>These last couple months I've been thinking to myself that it is a buggier year than normal
BEES ARE OK THE PROBLEM IS THOSE N****IGGER MOSQUITOES
Bumble bees are best bees.
Did you learn something new today?
telegraph.co.uk
> The most recent RSPB State of Nature report, which brings together findings from 50 organisations, suggests there has been a 59 per cent decline in insects in the UK since 1970.
You can find similar numbers all over the world.
nope
Take some spiders home with you, the ones with long legs
Shame
>by 2010's the number has dropped significantly
you dont say, im sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the more aerodynamic cars that are designed to push bugs OVER THE ROOF instead of into the windshield!!!
I read the Stephen King books
Noooo what do I do without my honey!!!
