Wut? Is this your first Simon series, amigo? The only issue I have with the series is the time jumps between seasons. I'd prefer it if they spent more time with the pimps from the first season and their struggles, not fastforward to their demise. Maybe two seasons during that time and then jump to the age of VHS porn.

yes, CC. if i remember correctly (and i may not be) CC said he'd take care of her an episode or two before she was found dead. i gathered he was the one who killed her. i'll be surprised if that wasn't the case. CC's fate was a total shock to me. i thought that actor was amazing in the role and would continue with the series until the end. that's just to say i can be 100% wrong on what i think happens or is happening in a Simon series.

Another thing that surprised the hell out of me was finding out the actor playing CC was British, like Stringer Bell/Idris Elba in The Wire. his accent never slipped as far as I know. unlike the Australian lady in Mindhunters whose accent makes cameo appearances every other scene. I wonder what Simon will do next after The Deuce. He' s one of the only showrunners I follow now that David Milch is no longer in the game.
