Fucking stupid. Season 5 was weaker than 4 overall, but the finale wrapped up everyone's stories in a suitable way. Giving Jesse a bittersweet ambiguous ending was a great decision. There is absolutely no reason to tack a new story onto the end of it.

Breaking Bad picked up mad viewers by the time it was closing, I expect with the steam of El Camino and BCS on Netflix the numbers will be up next season especially since it’s just now actually going into god tier mode

that was the weird thing about breaking bad. Not a single person talked about it until 2013. Then suddenly everyone watched it. I marathoned it after the finale and it was hot garbage.

With the extra year they got with the writing and directing and Odenkirk saying it's the best season by far, Season 5 is gearing up to be pure, unadulterated kino

It'll end after 6 seasons so I think it'll wrap everything before Walt's appearance and S6 being the Gene Season
