The issue is she disliked this film without even giving good critical critique. She just says the film is dark and toxic masculinity is bad. That's it. At least argue about nihilism or how this film possibly attempts to glorify or glamorize the violence or negative message. But no, her review is reduced to "This film made me feel sad because it's too dark and toxic masculinity is bad"

Lots of critics liked First Reformed because of the climate change message and how the main character loses faith. I'm not saying that is what it's about, but tons of critics saw it that way. So I'd be more shocked if she didn't like it.
Fallout is one of those "fun" films and isn't dark like Joker.
