Star what?

Star Track
I love Lorne Greene.

18 million people are genuinely interested though!

I dont care anymore. Rey is a palpatine clone like snoke blah blah blah

Was Snoke a doorman?

I'm interested in the memes it will generate.

that would actually give him a use in life. so no. failed clone blah blah blah

What could they possibly do to make these films exciting?

I'm not gonna watch it but I can't wait to see how much of a trash fire it is

>18 million people
WOW! That's, like, 9 million less than the views for the final trailer for The Joker.
Just accept the fact that Star Wars was killed and raped by Disney.

Before his reveal in TLJ as a normal sized alien, I wanted him to be a giant. It had possibilities. Damn Rian Johnson.

Rei is Anakin's mother.

Untrue and in transition.

>he amount of desperate faggots who denied Get Woke Go Broke

sort of. I like Star Wars. I even like the shitty Disney stuff that isn't the new films. I am looking forward to the 'Sequel Trilogy' being over so the mouse can try something new.

They won't market Rey for long if their next attempt at Marvel money is Revan

I only want to see how bad it is

I had a JarJar toy when I was a kid because I liked aliens and dinosaurs. Years passed and I watched all the 6 Star Wars movies to see what was the appeal (then I find out what was my old toy based one). I watched the movies with an open heart, but I discovered the series wasn't for me.
If the 6 original movies were made to make people go for more stories in other medias, it failed completely. I really think the brand aimed at a really small niche of fans and it's too "expensive" to enter. I don't say "expensive" because of money, but because the whole thing has like 2109349 shows, and 2063512091 books and 4205555693063 comics and it's just too much for an outsider. With the distinctions, it's almost like trying to read Balzac and Émile Zola, there is too much and it's too connected, so I just avoided it.
But what is really funny is how Disney failed with these new movies. By the threads here, they shitted on the old fans and couldn't attract new fans. It's strange how a giant company can make such giant mistake.

:(

no

Disney fucked it worse than the prequels did. Not sure how but they did.

You mean besides the multiple threads daily about it? No of course not.

At least Lucas had the sense to never mention midichlorians ever again past TPM, but Disney doubles down on its mistakes.

Even though the prequels were filled with goofy shit they still had something about them. The Disney stuff doesn't translate Lucas's lightning in a bottle. They kind of just rely on 'members.

Nope, said TLJ will be the last Star Wars thing I give money to
Might pirate the Mandalorian tho

The problem is, as bad as TLJ was and as much as Star Wars fatigue is real, this will hit a billion, maybe not much more but it'll still be a blockbuster. There was no hype around TLJ but people still went because it was an event. The ads started playing everywhere and everyone had an opinion about "Episode 8" so everyone had to see it. Same will happen with Episode 9, it'll be a big event and I lot of people will see it, I mean I'm half tempted to see it considering it's such a big movie. But both TLJ and Endgame disappointed me, so I'm gonna stay home, or just see Masters of the Universe instead.

I am only interested because I want to see their failure and head roll.

>There was no hype around TLJ
You're out of your mind. TLJ had massive hype, and then it actually came out and crashed after its first weekend.

Yeah.
The prequels, clunky dialogue, plot holes, bad editing (mostly in TPM and AotC) aside, have a clear story to tell with memorable characters, and to top it off with amazing music-with its own distinct flavor-and is made with pure one man's vision. While Disney just goes for bucks.

so this trilogy ends, yes

Nope. There's a reason that trailer was hedged with callbacks to the real movies.

>There was no hype around TLJ

Are you out of your goddamn mind? Literally everyone on the planet was hype for Luke's return, and when wom got out it had the biggest drop in history

I'll be annoyed that the movie rip will only be out month after the release and everyone has talked about this to the end.
I was dragged into episode 8 because my friends went but this time I'm not paying a single cent for that. Even the die hard fans among my friends where disappointed and I don't think anyone bothered to even watch Solo.
Teasing the emps is giving me some nostalgia boner but they'll butcher it 100% so I don't want to witness it.

Well, no-one was talking about it in Australia or the UK. Maybe it's an Americlap thing.

The PT still felt like Star Wars and had its moments (RotS is OT-tier too).

The ST feels like bad fan fiction and has nothing that captures the feeling of Star Wars

You're a bit right; Star Wars has always been much, much more popular in the US than the rest of the world. But now it's losing ground completely.

>Joker has more views despite being released recently
>Being beaten by a literal clown

It's hard to give a shit when the people making them can't even be bothered.

I'm interested in it in the same way that I'll watch a bunch of Chinese car crash videos.

Yes.

Initial concept design was an 8ft tall cobra looking alien.

You need to see the original 3 films as a young child to truly appreciate the kosher black magic spell made to control the goyim.

Put the main bitch in Leia's old slave outfit and I may torrent it

>Boomer Wars

Embarassing

Wow that actually would have been better than the pancake batter we got.

ROTS is shit tier just as the other prequels. Up until this clusterfuck from disney, they were the most disappointing cinematic experience in history.

If you look through the concept art book for TFA, it’s mindblowing how badly they fucked up the initial concept for these characters, including Rey and Finn. It would be interesting to find out who it was that made the final decisions that deviated from those initial concepts.

Yeah, people who praise RotS must have forgotten just how clumsy Anakin's fall was, not to mention all the heinous "romantic" dialog.

>WOW! That's, like, 9 million less than the views for the final trailer for The Joker.

Even dumb hot takes on Joker got more interest than Episode 9

Attached: episode 9 interest 1.jpg (626x1469, 136K)

That's less than the fucking Cisbusters trailer. By over half.

Attached: rf 31.png (373x335, 113K)

I used to be. The Last Jedi killed my enthusiasm.

>Joker trailer already nearly double this and it's not even been a full week yet

ha ha ha oh no no no!

Opinion: get raped, blue checkmark

>muh dialogue
The OT gets a free pass, huh?

They're mostly remembering the fun scenes where Sheev hams it up

Nigger fuck off.
The prequels have soul.

I'm interested in the videos people will make defending/shitting on it, does it count?

Judging by the incredibly low trailer views and the dearth of discussion on social media, no. About the only people guaranteed to watch all 3 were Star Wars fans, but they shot that in the face with The Last Jedi.

>month after the release

On Disney+? Doubt it.

The OT has excellent dialogue.

Why is the Emperor alive

you saw darth maul is alive too, right? in the solo movie.

no one is ever really gone.

Leaks implied he spent years after his "death" in the unknown regions in awe of Vader/Luke's bond, and wanted to replicate that with his biological grandchild, Rey, whose parent he had at some point.

Rey and Kylo fight Palpatine, Kylo likely dies.
First Order copy paste fleet which is in the Unknown Regions is trapped there once the Resistance disables the navigation systems.
Leia dies of a natural death in the movie.
Rey combines Lukes and Leia's lightsabers on Tattooine at the end, facing an uncertain future.

If leaks are true, and they are, the movie will be a wet fart

>facing an uncertain future.
why would they try to leave this on a cliffhanger? are they trying to beat the shit out of it

>Leia's lightsaber

God, they really wanted to retcon Leia into being the protagonist of the OT, didn't they?

The memes will be legendary.

Rise of the Skywalker is going to be so great, you will miss out if you don't go out and see it when it comes out in a theater near you.

Does this mean they will bring back Liam Neeson?

i want George to buy back all of it at 50% discount

Didnt disney make like 27 billion from star wars in toys, tickets, merchandise and everything? It blows my mind cause I never see any kids with star wars merch

Disney leaked a bunch of different endings to see which one people actually liked.

fake news, they cooked the books

People will still go watch it like with Aladdin or the Lion King, sadly
