Fite me

Netflix botched the ending hard why a gay dance number? Movie was ok up until that point

It had its moments. Not spectacular but the climax was great.

>not just making roadside picnic

well at least Cages Colour out of space will fill the gap.

>BLACKED cheating subplot that doesn't go anywhere
>Shimmer is poorly explained, why not tie the people to a cable and reel them out if they don't return in 6 hours
>Badass girls doing BADASS girl power science and fighting
>Poor CGI
>Movie spoils itself in the first 5 minutes
>Alright visuals here and there, and neat mutation ideas but they fall flat under the poor pacing
>One of the group goes insane and manages to tie everyone up and get them into chairs without anyone noticing, and then delivers a cringy monologue

Epic Netflix movie

I enjoyed it for what it was. Was thinking a bit of the way through "hmm I haven't really seen any typical netflix cuckery shit yet" and literally 2 minutes later there's a scene of natalie cheating on her husband with a black guy. Shouted "FOR FUCKS SAKE I FUCKING KNEW IT" and was real damn close to turning it off, but managed to just watch it through. Some of the imagery was really nice and I liked the concept of unmitigated mutations at a very fast rate. That scene with the bear that imitated it's victims voices was pretty fucking intense too.

it wasn't a netflix original, it just bombed in it's theatre release then was sold to netflix shortly after

Good lord she was cheating with the nerdiest science black guy ever. The interstellar math nerd. It wasnt some roided black bull feeding into your insecurities about your weak chicken arms and small dicks. Its you but black. He was cheating to on his wife. She was a black queen, ass and tits for miles, reprogramming neurons, just had that horse pussy thats all. That black whore was into bondage and he just wanted some soft jew puss.

Soulless Hollywood ripoff of Stalker and Roadside Picnic. What would you expect?

i watched the movie sunshine recently and got the same horrid, dirty vibe from it that i did from The Beach and it turns out its the same team. I was glad i looked it up because i had actually planned to watch this and i think i just saved my senses
can dying junkie fuckheads keep their tenement atmosphere out of non-social-realist films fucking please

all it did was made me remember the intro to that moderat album that's super based

which that was way longer

Just another shitty adaptation that is completely unlike the original material.

remembered watching this and couldn't make sense of everything in it. From the "well soldiers didn't work so perhaps a bunch of wemen scientists would" to the fucking horrible ending.

Why didn't they just rappel down into the lighthouse from a helicopter?
Why didn't they bomb the thing?
Why didn't they try fire before?
Why does everything just conveniently happen?

It's like we're on the defunct Imdb forums, but worse

Cringe

Netflix didn’t make this

I thought it was good.

Wow it ripped off a novel AND it’s film adaption? The gall

Based

I only watched RLM's review and their smug attitude about how smart they were for liking it made sure I'd never watch it

That doesn't surprise me
I know
It's their sort of movie anyway even if they didn't make it

Great movie. Almost all female without being shitty or agenda with it. Great effects and soundtrack. Actually based focus on the loss of humanity and the psychological aspect of it.

seen it a while ago.
It was terrible

why does this hack keep getting work? his films are awfully written, lack deep characters, zero plot, no arcs.
