You mean fantastic movies with mediocre yet still entertaining and satisfying third acts with great soundtracks, right bot?

>muh 3rd act
Reminder OP is a brainlet still parroting a meme started by Chris Gore on Attack of the Show

imagine being him

>it's great apart from the parts that aren't
cope

>it's great apart from the parts that aren't
isn't that every single movie?

you're both retarded fyi

Okay, you start

not good ones

>SupaHotFireIsNotAllowed
calling anyone retarded with a handle like that

mass effect is a video game, not a movie

mad alert

it wasnt that bad. that part where he jumps across that gap is cool

>sunshine
>shitty
you have to go back

>there's cool graphics

Not bad. Mediocre. Sunshine turned into a lazy slasher flick in the final act even if that act had very cool sequences. I think the main criticism is that for a tight sci-fi film, it went bonkers with the Pinbacker crap and broke suspension of disbelief. Everything prior to that was caused by human error, not superhuman villainy. Not a bad movie by any means. Just missed being great by turning into a slasher movie in the final act.

yikes look at the parrots go

phantom menace. say waht ever you want about the rest of the movie, but the sounds track is good.

Prove us wrong, dunce.

>act retarded
>prove that I'm not retarded
No

>responding to tripfags

Figured you were a troll without backbone or sufficient gray matter to form a coherent argument to prove his perspective. I figured correct.

It had potential and buildup then spends the last 20 minutes tipping it's fedora in a hockey mask.

I sleep

how much foreshadowing do you retards need? you had the whole spoopy failed mission, the psych streetshitter going nuts and still you thought you were watching some generic shitty scifi fix the sun movie?

>Spoopy?
Are you twelve? The failed first mission and the psychiatrist's arc are not indicative of a slasher third act, which went against the dilemmas presented in the first two acts. Also, foreshadowing does not justify imbecilic (yet entertaining!) third acts. Mediocre remains mediocre no matter how you try to justify it.

Is not having to turn your brain off when you watch bad films worth the tradeoff of not being able to understand good ones?

you read the tone of my post as well as the movie lmao

You almost make a good point. Ad hominem pretense aside, a better point would be are films that betray the viewers intelligence in final acts still considered great or simply entertaining?

Your post was imbecilic. The film was not. It only pivoted to mediocrity in the final act. Your post was mediocre from the first sentence.

Empire Records
The Crow
Trainspotting

zzzzz

Slashernigger in outer space was the best act, fight me
