But the live action Kenobi series will be set several years AFTER ROTS and he will still be played by Ewan. So it's likely only 15ish years pass between sexy young Ewan and old gray Alec.

They showed that Kenobi takes place 8 years after Revenge and 11 years before Hope. So people's bullshit explanations are bullshit. Unless they age up Ewan McGregor significantly for this, Disney will just ruin the lore even more than it already has.
