i realize that, but kubrick gave a proper explanation of 2001 and people still run with their own wild bullshit. he also stated what happens in the shining and people go really, really stupid into bullshit theories that don't make sense once you watch the movie a few more times. eyes wide shut absolutely has stuff related to real elites, freemasons. it's not hidden, he used the damn location itself. and obviously he is showing you pedophiles. and yes, the place where he gets the mask and cloak is connected to the masquerade because she tells him what color cloak to wear. there is an initiation going on, everyone at the party is trying to test to see if bill and his wife are cool enough to come to the masquerade. they're being tempted with sex to see if they'd be down with group sex or sex with someone strange so they might know if they'll participate in the sex magick orgy. but kidman is not a slave, kubrick gives no indications of that and he gives indications of everything else. it's not as hidden as people think, his films are pretty clear.
