He made the mistake of having his fans dress as fascist brownshirts. This sort of thing is generally not a good idea for an entertainer without first securing Jew blessings. He was subsequently forced to "retire". Dr. Horrible was basically them erasing and replacing him with something non-threatening to Jews. Not sure if there was more to the story than that, but his concept is quite clearly "problematic".

it's been a long time, user. I do remember there was a list of "similarities" and it was pretty uncanny apart from both being a "mad scientist" trope. But since it was based on something so generic, he could never really "own" it, which just added insult to injury. In the end, I think it's because he was flirting with fascist imagery without first paying certain "dues" like Marilyn Manson and others did. He was probably pretty naive.

Barely remember this but I had the whole musical on loop the first time I went hiking. I remember My Eyes playing when I thought I saw a kid fall off some cliff.

My favorite part was when the horse-faced woman tried to fart and instead shit all over her jammy jams. Imagine the smell. #laundryday

I'm pretty sure he was an indie artist for his entire brief run and basically any industrial hard rock / metal act with that much scope was going to get squashed like a bug unless he signed. He was producing his own toys and merch.... basically ICP for fascist larpers. The sad thing is, i dont think either he or his fans realized they were larping as nazis. Double sad because he was pretty ahead of his time all things considered...
