Yeah, with the knowledge that it will probably be bad. I think there is some hope that it will be an entertaining space adventure movie. the first was about Kylo Ren confronting Dark Rey possessed by Palpatine and taking Anakin's lighstaber to defeat her, but the second one was about Dark Rey being just a vision and Kylo and her teaming-up against Palpatine on a material form using both Anakin's lightsaber throwing it each other

JJ Abrams said that he basically said "eh, fuck it." with this movie. No-one cares anymore (as if they did in the first place), they just want to sell tickets off of easy nostalgia like bringing back the emperor.
