I've been downloading torrents for over 18 years or so? All public trackers are compromised. Private trackers are fantastic. It's just hard to get into one. Even I have trouble getting into the super exclusive ones. But the regular ones are good enough.

In my years of downloading several films and tv series per day, I've received this one email. It was in March of this year and it was for downloading Mary Poppins Returns for my sister. The funny thing is, I'd downloaded the torrent for her when it initially released and then deleted it so I had to re-download it. I chose a different torrent with different trackers the second time around, it was a much more popular upload than before. The second set of trackers were obviously being monitored.

This is from Sky in the UK, they didn't give me a warning. They simply said that they know I downloaded Mary Poppins and they've passed it on to some copyright regulating body. When I read the subject line, I was expecting a harsh warning but I see this as less than a slap on the wrists, they just wanted me to know that they know.
