Well this was absolute shit

The girl was ok. The chink lady was ok. Wise cracking dad was cool. Ice Cube’s son was a little cringe, but they were fine I’d say I liked them all and even if you didn’t, there were enough scenes with the monsters that if you’re a fan of Godzilla and didn’t think this movie was dope I don’t think you’re a fan of Godzilla it was sick

I fucking hated the Stranger Things girl but I guess the rest of the humans were alright. Monster action was dope.

Great Monsters. Not enough visuals of them tho. All the characters were shit except the jap. The writing was laughably bad but monster fights JUST made this worthwhile for me. 6/10... barely.

The plot was shit. The fights were okay. Ghidorah close ups were terrible tho. To this day the only movie that made dragons look good was Reign of Fire. Everything else looks goofy as shit.

This movie was entertaining but christ fucking god was the plot stupid. Like, I have watched a fair amount of Godzilla films, including Final Wars which was infamously fun but dumb, so I went in the cinema with the usual "turn off your brain" mode ready but even then did the stupidity of the plot and the human characters get to me. Was it a fun movie? Yeah, everything that didn't have the main cast in it was kino, but holy shit did it physically hurt like hell once super max ultra hippie mother hitler bitch appeared in the screen with her talk of utter batshittiness. Would not recommend when sober.

The cinematography was ass, and the protagonist family drama played out like discount Roland Emmerich. Godzilla 1998 is a better movie than King of the Monsters.

I greatly enjoyed King Kong vs Godzilla, but King of the Monsters is bad.

Ghidorah looked amazing close up, he had so much personality and so much charisma. The way he moved like a serpent with his heads and like a goose as he ran was unnerving, he was the best part in the movie if you ask me and many times had huge atmosphere to him.

like other said, go with Shin and 54. After that, if you enjoy the aesthetic and style enough you can go through the rest of them at your leisure. But definitely skip 1998 and 2019 unless you you want shitty hollywood style version to fry your brain to.
